I recently came across this website

    http://www.freedocumentaries.org/

Any recommendations? (Even if it is not on that site.)
I tend to be picky about documentaries, because, well, a lot of them are boring and I'd rather just read instead of listen to boring interviews. But when I see documentaries I like, I usually really like them. I know bias is hard to avoid, but I really appreciate documentaries without too much bias. Like Jesus Camp... they kind of just show you what is going on, and while there were biased opinions, it mostly just had you follow the people around the camp and it was easy to form your own opinion... stuff like that.

There are lots of documentaries and movies in various languages in the ANARCHISM AND FILM archive hosted by ChristieBooks: http://www.christiebooks.com/ChristieBooksWP/?page_id=2

You can watch the stuff free, though a donation would be appreciated to keep this vital archive open!

Well worth a look for those who are interested in anarchism beyond the back of a Crass album...

great site Ungovernable! thanks for the link

if you can stomach it, there is a crazy documentary (in the vein of Jesus Camp) all about the anti-abortionist movement called Unborn in the USA.
i have no idea if you can find it free online though.

Earthlings is a must see for people who are curious about the ideas surrounding veganism. a low rez version can be found here:
