You got slapped on the butt...
So what? A lot more worse things could've happened.
    GET OVER IT. \m/
I'm tired of people and especially women playing the sexual harrassment card just so they can play the victim game and estrange themselves even more from men. It's hard enough these days going up to talk to a girl with the fear of rejection or being ignored.
It's conduct like this that is seperating the genders and getting everyone else tangled up in these feminist/sexist mind games.
    I'm over women... Almost.

You're very vocal about standing up for the OP when she shared her story of abuse, but yet you're condenscending when the male poster shared a story of their own abuse. Pretty confusing and frusterating. Why did you need to add the "who cares" part? That's so disrespectful. Everything you had said up until that comment, had been a clear and a solid stance that I appreciated reading.

I have to say I believe the victim the accused claims that these actions are not in his nature but if you would just look at some of the work in his band...

the misagonism in LCB is very obvious to me which is explainable when you adolise A Clockwork Orange (I have to say I like the book and the movie BUT do not idolise the actions) just take a look at the music video "just like clockwork" in the beginning the singer wakes up next to what seems to be a humiliated female corpse ... qeustionable to say the least and listen to some of the lyrics "everithing I do is just like clockwork" comes to mind I know this is not proof of his actions nor is it for me a way of saying "you see he IS a sexist asshole" but as I said it is at least questionable

any way I think the accused did not come up with any strong arguments for me to believe his side I did take his side of the story in consideration but simply did not believe him

if LCB come to holland in the future I will make sore to let everyone I know know that they're shite

    I hate cancel culture.
As a kid... this is coming a guy who grew up in a punk family where I had 3 older siblings all into it, and one put on shows over a decade, we didn't care much about this type of shit. Like if I hang out with someone who has one political point of view or opinion, it doesn't mean I'm a sympathizer or adopt their point of view. In this case... These are punkrockers. A lot of them, like my family, grew up off the Sex Pistols and Sid Vicious. Well did Sid Vicious seem like an amazing politically correct person who had to live the life style his band sang about? No! Punk is a F*ck You! It's not some cancel culture bs where everyone is stoked on the drama of seeing some band, that actually contributes to a scene putting in work, fall.
F Cancel Culture. I just registered to even say this. As a punk who backpacked and travel 8 years of my life, been listening to Oi!, Ska and Streetpunk before even elementary school, ya internet punks are a hack. Go make something of yourself, Contribute to the scene, not on the internet. The internet is NOT the scene. Punk is in a terrible state.
If you soft, then don't go to shows. You were never promised your protection in the 70s or 80s at shows. We get bad things happen and shouldn't but if the artist your into is talking about doing terrible things and being a scummy pos, then why is it surprising when it happens.
Stop being such p*ssies! You listen to punk music! If its not real punk than I guess I get it.... Maybe some blink182 shit but otherwise... figure it out. It's the reasons people used to roll with crew/gangs to shows. For protection from other crews/gangs. I miss the good ol days.
BTW: I don't even like LowerClassBrats

There's some nuggets of sentiments in there I agree with, such as:

We shouldn't focus on taking the scene down, we should focus on building it up
The internet is currently not being utilized in a productive way by punks

...but I don't agree that punk should only be for the hardboiled fighters and brawlers. There should be room for every punk, in many cases all we have is each other. I'm also hesitant to call it "cancel culture" and be done with it, that's deminishing voices that do have valid points. We should be able to identify and tear down hierarchies within our own ranks as well.

Punk should be for everyone, not just fighters and brawlers. We gotta build the scene up, not tear it down. Internet punks need to contribute to the real scene, not just talk online. Let's identify and break down hierarchies in our ranks. Anti-hierarchies, man.

Punk isn't Anarchist if you don't watch out for each other.

Punk isn't Anarchist if you go on a witch hunt against a woman who is trying to protect other women in the scene from a creep.

I came here looking for anti-fascist punks, not a pile-on by misogynists.

It's 2025 and the fascists are taking charge. If you say "no cancel culture" we know that you're on their side. So you either stand up to fascists, you stand with fascists, or you get curb-stomped.

    It's that simple.
