Feminazis are definitely in existence. Most definitely. My sister is one of them. They're excessively about "Power To Women!" They have nothing but absolute pride in being a woman. Most aren't lesbians, I think that's a misconception. But from what I understand, they don't date unless that man is absolutely about equality for women [which is how it should be anyways] but yeah, fascist feminists. I actually had a conversation with my friend this weekend about feminism and this came up. Not exactly the term "feminazi" but fascist feminists.

    it's because she's a feminazi.

Ok so i can write a text to kill all women and say we should use them as sex objets and them defend myself saying it is cathartic and satirical ?? Dumb argument

huge generalization, and saying you want to kill all men, whatever the fuck you mean behind this, is just totally stupid. It's fascist and dumb.

There is no way you can defend this text unless you are a feminazi.

Most of the things quoted in the text are FACTS so don't tell me it is satirical when they talk about the chromozons and other scientific facts.

Proof you are a feminazi. I always knew it.

Yes but as I said in my post, the majority of feminists would not regard them as feminists. Just as much as anarchist nazis would not be regarded as nazis by anarchists. I also think "power to women", women are clearly an oppressed group. That doesn't mean I think women should have more power than men, it just means I think women shouldn't be oppressed.

I don't date guys unless they treat me well am I a feminazi?? I would say to both a man AND a woman...don't date a PERSON if they don't respect you and treat you well. That's just a general thing of whether you are a man or a woman.

I study Science, so it really irritates me when people throw around terms like "proof", especially without back-up.
To actually prove something, first state what you believe a "feminazi" is...and then show that I conform to that criteria. Even if you somehow manage to do that, it's still not proof, as the word "feminazi" would be entirely based on YOUR opinion. And things like "proofs" can't be based on opinion. :)

AnarchoFeminazi, the SCUM Manifesto is exactly what feminazism is. And since you defend this text and say you agree to it, YOU are a feminzai and this is a proof.

Yes, a very small minority of feminists support the scum manifesto. But a LARGE consensus in anarchist community is against this feminazism bullshit, so no it's not only MY opinion :)

    you are a feminazi !

The satirical aspect of SCUM I can appreciate because when I first read it a couple of years ago I was like..."You cannot be fucking serious here right?"

The radical feminist movement who follow this text isn't satirical, they take it seriously.

Saying it is satirical is just a dumb feminazi excuse.

    This text is inverted sexism.

If a man would write a similar text against women, no feminist on earth would support that shit, even if the men says it is a satirical text.

Ungovernable, one of the major ideas behind the SCUM Manifesto is to provoke a reaction from men. It's satire because it's taking patriarchal attitudes towards women and turning them on their head. Most of what the Manifesto proposes be done to men is already being done by men to women. Even writing down this idea down causes an uproar, but most people accept the real life exploitation of women as normal.

This is not one of those situations where you can flip the roles around to expose a double standard. Just because men and women should be equal in every respect doesn't mean they are. Women have been historically oppressed by a patriarchal society while men have benefited from it. That alone completely changes what it would mean for a woman to write this kind of text.

I'm not going to try too hard to convince you that the SCUM Manifesto is satire because you seem to have already made up your mind. But maybe consider two things:

    1) Valerie Solanas was a playwright who hung out with artists.
    2) No one--Solanas included--has ever tried to realize SCUM as an actual organization.

But this wasn't really the thread topic. The thread topic was "feminazism," which I'm still not convinced is a real thing. My proposal is we not use the word "feminazi," and certainly not interchangeably with "radical feminists." I would assume that, as an anarchist, you also consider yourself a feminist. I would also assume that you agree with me when I say that real feminism has nothing to do with oppressing men. Anyone who tries to (seriously) suggest otherwise is not a feminist, they're just an asshole. Real feminists already have enough problems being taken seriously in patriarchal culture. I'm not going to use language that suggests a connection between that struggle and people who say shitty stuff for shock value.

That's still a big generalization. Not all men act this way, only a very small minority. That's no better than racism and fascism when you generalize a whole gender just because of the actions of a minority. Pretty much the same thing as the racist scumbags who generalize everything and blame a whole race for the actions of a minority.

Bullshit. No man ever talked about cutting women's clitoris or bullshit like that. Same with almost all part of this manifesto. The rest is a big generalization.

Nobody, even the most sexist piece of shit, would accept a manifesto starting by the idea of cutting all women's clitoris.

    This still doesn't justify it.

Ethnic minorities and jews have been oppressed by white men. Would it be tolerable if a jew or an afro-american wrote a "manifesto for the genocide of the white men" explaining that the white men is an error of the nature, an uncomplete chromozone, white men should be sent to gas chambers and shot in line of two ?
Even if they have been victims of white men oppression it would still be innaceptable.

The inversion of hate isn't a solution to hate. Reverse sexism isn't a solution to sexism. Just like reverse racism isn't a solution to racism. Satirical or not.

There is a famous french anarcho-punk band with a strongly feminist female singer (paria punk) who sings
"How blind must those people be,
    to prefer women to men ;
    they who to be "antisexist",
spend their time glorifying women ?
    Don't they see
    they're only hiding this problem
    that it's no solution ?"

    http://keupon.chez.com/pp/pp.htm

In other words, glorifying the women is just reversing the problem and it is not a solution. Just like glorifying the black peoples to put it over white men so they can regain a little bit of equality isn't a solution

But the "radically antifeminist" movement base their thoughts on this manifesto. And i have seen a couple of feminazis in quebec who were fans of this manifesto and who hated all men.

This is definatly on-topic, SCUM Manifesto is the best example of feminazism.

Actually no, i don't consider myself as a feminist and i don't like this word. I'm an egalitarian, nothing more nothing less, and yes of course it definatly include the egality of men and women. I will not argue on why i do not consider myself as a feminist, this would be too long, but i can refer you to some texts. I definatly share pariapunk's views on the subject.

Yes real feminism have nothing to do with oppressing men, but radical feminism does.

Denying that feminazi exist is just like denying that red fascists exists in the anti-fascist struggle. Our movements are not perfect and there is a lot of extremists, on both sides. Face it.

What, you've never heard of female genital mutilation? That shit is prevelant throughout Africa and the Middle East. Either I'm misunderstanding you or you really don't realize the extent to which women have been and are being oppressed around the world.

that's a problem related to religions, not sexism.

It's associated with religion, sure, (although I would say in Africa it was more a traditional cultural practice than a religious one) but it's motivated at least in part by sexist views which suppose the need to control women's sexual appetites. My point is there are a lot of men who support the practice of cutting women's clitoris, which you seemed to be denying.

There is also a lot of women who support cutting women's clitoris because it is part of their culture, traditions and their religion, a fact that you deny.

Ok let's just give up on this story anyway you already got your views and obviously you're not going to change them.

BUT it is still not a reason to reverse the discrimination.

    Like i said:
