"Death Punch Means Cadaver" was recorded as a demo in 2000. Divided was a Hardcore Punk band from Berlin / Germany and played from 1999 until 2002. After Sebastian and Grobi jammed a few times, Sebastian recruited housemate Stephan who he heard singing along to his stereo. Grobi's housemate Wielki joined as well and Divided was complete. Divided's songs were mostly in German language with a couple of English songs in addition. They played numerous gigs in Berlin and in a few other cities as well. The 'Semtex' basement bar in the Kreutziger Strasse in Berlin / Friedrichshain quickly evolved to their favourite gig location. After founding member Wielki left the band, Rotzi replaced him on bass guitar. After a few pissed gigs, Rotzi left and Grobi swapped the drumsticks with the bass guitar and Iffi played drums for a while until the band broke up because vocalist Stephan refused to have a shower for three months or so. Well, the reasons for the break up were probably of a different nature but Stephan was 100% nature, too. Anyway, this also describes best Divided's sound: Dirty, stinking Berlin hardcore punk.

hahahaha, that last.fm biography is awesome! technology rules... As mentioned above, Divided were not from Belarus and the guitarist may have used a 'metal zone' pedal but that would be the closest similarity with metal you could possibly get. Actually, I think he had a Crate amp and used its distortion, metal, metal metal.... :lmao:
