    I love Napalm Death, Extreme Noise Terror, Carcass, Pig Destroyer, Kill The Client, Phobia, and some other cool Grind stuff. I also like early Black Metal, and Death Metal.

    Grindcore = fuck yeah!
    Death metal = 90% shit, 10% awesome
    Black metal = generally awesome, unless its bedroom kvltboy shit.

    And the poster above me mentioned a bunch of Powerviolence, which I love the shit out of, but it's not any kind of metal obviously...

    i figure its just about as relevant to metal as grind. grind and pv (for me at least) both sit on that punk metal barrier especially with the thrashier pv like hellnation and the sludgier pv like m.i.t.b

    Well it depends on the grind really I guess....a band like Nails is definitely more punk than metal, but then you have all the goregrind kinda bands who don't seem to acknowledge their punk side...that said, the grindcore I enjoy is definitely all as much or more on the punk side anyways. The death growls are what differentiate most of it from PV for me really...well, that and the kind of decrepit, decaying DM side of a lot of grind.

    Oh shit, Anaal Nathrakh, yeah I know 'em, but I'd kinda forgotten about them, thanks for reminding me of them...and as for Naked Whipper, well I'm liking the way they sound even if they look to have...sketchy lyrics haha

    Glad I could help \m/ I don't think naked whipper are actual proponents of molestation though haha like all metal it's mostly shits and giggles. I listened to demonical genuflection. It's not really grindcore, it's more like death metal with some black metal elements. This band is a serious waste of potential. The vocalist is fucking sick as hell, but the music doesn't fit it at all. It's kind of got a symphonic black metal thing going on.
