There's an app for the iphone called "patriotapp" and it directly links you to government agencies so you report "suspicious behavior". I think it's obvious what they're really doing is encouraging citizens to report on each other and effectively have eyes everywhere as your neighbor is now a spy. If snitching makes you a patriot how long before they start giving out rewards for those who are "the most patriotic"? As seen in 1984.

    This was really good ^^

It talks about a lot of different things. All kinds of TSA bullshit. They raid organic farms with guns drawn (they're currently trying to make it illegal to grow or sell homegrown goods). And there all sorts of technical loopholes in legislation that allows the government to circumvent any constitutional stipulation. Too many things to name, the video takes a comprehensive look at just how much of a dystopia we're becoming. As knowledgeable as one may be, there might be something in the vid you can learn.

Apparently about 1-4 cops are using steroids. Departments refuse to test them on the grounds it's a violation of their rights. Roided out cop breaks 84 year old man's neck.

Police Officer Found Guilty Of Raping Undocumented Immigrant At Gunpoint Under Threat Of Deportation
By Andrea Nill on Mar 11th, 2011 at 5:18 pm

A former Georgia deputy from Cobb County, Jason Bill, was found guilty today on a total of seven counts, including, kidnapping, two counts of aggravated assault, aggravated sodomy, rape and false imprisonment of a 23-year-old undocumented woman. According to reports, Bill accused the undocumented immigrant from El Salvador of stealing his phone. He threatened to deport her and then “used the power of his badge to force her to his nearby apartment.” Then he forced her to “commit sexual acts” at gun point. He will be sentenced tomorrow and faces a minimum of 25 years in jail. To add insult to injury, Bill’s attorneys alleged that the victim was actually a prostitute.

This isn’t the first time a Cobb County police officer has been accused of exploiting an undocumented immigrant. In 2009, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU)of Georgia released a report documenting the stories of 10 people who claimed they were victims of racial profiling by Cobb County law enforcement.

In 2010, a 23-year-old Latino man filed a lawsuit against the Cobb County Police Department claiming that two officers “stopped him without cause, beat him and then jailed him on a pretext in an effort to get him deported.” According to the police report, officers stopped Angel Francisco Castro Torres (who was riding a bike) after observing his race. They then allegedly demanded Castro’s papers before proceeding to beat him. Castro required surgery to repair his broken nose and eye socket.

The ACLU attributed the civil rights violations to the federal government’s 287(g) program which involves an agreement between local law enforcement agencies and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) that allows police to enforce immigration laws. “In Cobb, members of the immigrant community live their daily lives in terror as Cobb law enforcement and jail personnel abuse the power afforded to them by their contract with ICE,” wrote the ACLU. The ACLU further noted that, “This problem is compounded in Georgia, as there is currently no state legislation banning racial profiling and mandating accountability and transparency for law enforcement.”

Of course, not every police officer who is charged with enforcing immigration law is going to go out of his or her way to target brown-skinned immigrants. Nor is every case of racial profiling going to turn into the horrific crime that Bill committed. However, as Georgia continues to move forward on a slew of bills that would expand law enforcement’s authority to enforce immigration laws, the likelihood that the state will confront more of these cases could go up.

It seems like every other fucking day there's a story about corruption in the police force...and people STILL support the institution. Then again, people also still support the government...just goes to show a lot of people are idiots/brainwashed. And that policeman is a fucking bastard. Someone should make him truly pay.

    "SUPRAZ SUPRAZ SUPRAZ" :lmao:

Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s Inner Circle Falls Apart

Before we get to the bombshell news, the takeaway from this story first: not everyone in the Joe Arpaio’s Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office is corrupt (...but they are all fucking pigs - punkmar77). And in the end it was one Frank Munnell, a Maricopa County Deputy Chief, and a 63-page memo he courageously wrote last September that were the catalyst for this week’s big news from Arpaioland.

On Wednesday, Maricopa County’s Chief Deputy Dave Hendershott and Deputy Chief Larry Black handed over their resignations to their boss, the Arizona Republic reported. Their other option was to wait and get fired. Hendershott and Black were Arpaio’s chief henchmen who were deputized to run the sheriff’s office while Arpaio was out parading around town with celebrities. They’d fought back allegations of misconduct and abuse of power for years. Today we learned public suspicions were correct.

Hendershott and Black resigned amid an internal investigation ordered by Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu last year. Parts of the investigation’s 1,000-page report were released to the Arizona Republic today, and detail a list of Hendershott’s offenses that are staggering for their breadth and brashness.

You name it, Hendershott did it. The documents show that Hendershott, at Arpaio’s direction, who’s been accused of leading baseless politically motivated criminal investigations of judges and public officials, especially those who were critical of Hendershott’s boss, Joe Arpaio, disregarded departmental protocol. Hendershott demanded that deputies prepare a search warrant of the Board of Supervisors’ offices even when they told him that there were not sufficient probable cause. When his deputies refused, Hendershott said he’d “machine-gun” his staffers who didn’t cooperate.

It’s not just the tactics, it’s Arpaio’s motives: he often used his bogus criminal investigations to target people who cut his department’s funding or to single out political enemies who were critical of his scapegoating of immigrants and racial profiling and cruel detention policies. (Some of those public officials are suing Arpaio now.)

Hendershott shut down an internal affairs inquiry into the MCSO’s sex-crimes department, which had been accused of performing shoddy investigations for the El Mirage Police Department. The Arizona Republic reported that Hendershott also used $18,000 in donations from the Sheriff’s Posse (that is its actual name), and a $7,000 loan from the Sheriff’s Jeep Posse or the Posse Foundation to pay for an eight-day trip for an Alaskan baseball tournament for a baseball team his son played on.

Hendershott allegedly used his connections to profit off a trip to Honduras, where he shilled for a facial-recognition technology company. The investigation eventually found that Hendershott had acted within the law, but that his dealings with Honduras were of “arguably questionable utility” to the residents of Arizona, who he actually was employed to serve. Babeu’s investigation cleared him of a couple dozen other offenses, the ones he was found guilty of were enough to lead to his termination.

But back to where it all began, with Frank Munnell. It turns out he penned his 63-page memo to Arpaio last year because, according to the Phoenix Sun Times, he feared retaliation from Hendershott for cooperating with a separate and ongoing FBI investigation into the MCSO’s potential civil rights violations. Hendershott had suggested to Munnell that he be fired. Munnell is a 30-year veteran of the sheriff’s office.

Today, Munnell’s still got his job, but Hendershott doesn’t. There is talk, too, that the report could lead to a criminal investigation of Hendershott.

In his resignation to Arpaio, Hendershott remained ever faithful to his boss, the Arizona Republic reported. “My biggest regret will be that I no longer will work with you,” he wrote. “You are a gentleman that is wise, cunning and probably the most honest and dedicated politician I have ever know(n).”

He can buy a box of tissues for himself to cry on. And with a pension estimated at over $200,000, he can afford it.

Kari Abbey Arrested: Shows Network of Corruption, Drugs, and Illegal Evictions

    Kari Abbey, murderer.

On Monday, Stanislaus County Sheriff Kari Abbey was arrested and put on $300,000 bail (which was then quickly paid) and charged with second-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter. Abbey is charged with the murder of Rita Elias, a mother and resident of West-Side Modesto. Elias was murdered by Abbey in September of 2010 during an argument in which Abbey attempted to evict Elias from her property. Abbey's parents are landlords and according to documents released from the investigation, Kari along with other law enforcement officers have helped illegally evict people. Abbey is also charged with conducting this "family business" all while on the clock as a Sheriff. She was charged by the District Attorney's office after witnesses came forward about the shooting, although it appears that the Sheriff's Department has known of these witnesses and their testimony for a long time. According to the Modesto Bee:

In court documents, the Stanislaus County district attorney's office said Abbey abused tenants at her rental properties, used fellow deputies to serve eviction papers while they were on duty and conducted her business on county time. In addition, a March 30 search of the home and outbuildings she shared with her husband and father yielded a sophisticated marijuana growing system, several weapons, counterfeit bills, steroids and items from the Hayward Police Department. Abbey's husband, Bennie Taylor, worked for the Hayward police until last year. Investigators said Abbey and Taylor trespassed on properties they owned and managed, harassing and intimidating tenants, assaulting at least one of them.

One tenant called police after Taylor hit him, the affidavit said. Witnesses said the Modesto police officer who responded to the call seemed familiar with Abbey, hugging her and shaking Taylor's hand.

We live in a town where the Sheriff's Department has officers that are illegally evicting people as Modesto Police and the top cop brass back them up. Only until recently was Sheriff Adam Christianson calling the murder of Elias totally justified, even though he knew that witness testimony proved otherwise. It is only now, after all the dirty laundry has been cleared, that he and Mike Harden are back-pedaling in attempts to reassure the public that " this is not going to happen again." What's also clear is that both institutions back each-other up and act as a unit. When renters complained to the police about Abbey's treatment, police did nothing and made is extremely clear that Abbey was a friend. Lastly, through both the Modesto and Hayward police departments, Abbey had access to drugs, counterfeit money, steroids, and weapons. This finding comes hot on the heals of a Modesto Police officer Tony Trock getting caught taking drugs from evidence and Stockton Police officer Darrin Fagundes being caught in a steroid sting operation. Clearly, the charges leveled against Abbey are just scratching the surface, but we can begin to see the depth and widespread corruption and brutality which make up day-to-day life in the Modesto Police and Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department.

What we can begin to see is not a problem of 'bad-apples' but instead institutions which are completely corrupt and protected by a well-funded hierarchy and a blue-wall of silence. Just yesterday, Police Chief Harden and Sheriff Adam Christianson released a statement in the Modesto Bee stating that:

As Chief and Sheriff, we are accountable to you, the people. We are committed to leading organizations that pride ourselves on service, sacrifice, honor, integrity and above all, honesty. We serve in open accessible roles, working tirelessly to build and strengthen your trust in us...[W]e are swift to take corrective action to protect your trust. We're responsible for the conduct, behavior and performance of those who work for us and we will hold those employees accountable when they commit misconduct.

    Hail to the Chief?
Of course, none of this has ever happened, not now, not ever. The police are not accountable to the people; in no way, shape, or form. Police are accountable to their superiors, who are accountable to local politicians. The police are in fact protected by the "Police Bill of Rights," which prevents the public from finding out basic information on officers and protects police from investigations. If the police are accountable to the people then why haven't the people that murdered Fransisco Moran been held accountable? Have the guards that killed Craig Prescott or others within the Stanislaus County Jail been held accountable? Has Sheriff "Chip" Huskey been held accountable for raping and molesting his daughter? The Modesto Police for shooting Brian Reed? What about the police who use "beat and release" as a way of crowd control? Of course not. For the police, all of this murder, cover-ups, and corruption are justified because they're holding all the guns.

The words of Christianson and Harden slide out into the air like the tongues of snakes. They are worthless attempts at pacifying a population that more and more is waking up to the reality of what the police in our area really are and our need to confront the violence and corruption that they represent.

We cannot put our "faith" in stopping police terror in the hands of the police themselves, time and time again they've done nothing and they will continue to do nothing but pile up more dead bodies. Furthermore, we cannot put our faith in "investigations" by outside lawyers to bring change to organizations which funnel our tax-dollars into their pockets to buy a stamp of accreditation. The only way to change the police is to confront and destroy the power that they hold. On the streets, in our communities, and over all our lives.
