I don't think I know enough about them, but from what I hear, the singer has to be at least an anarchist sympathizer.

"There were barricades to keep us off the streets, but the crowd kept pushing forward until they swallowed the police, yeah they went wild...

I've been listening to these last two songs a lot rather recently. Sure bright eyes is known for their emo shit, but these songs are pretty good,

Minus the NWO thing obviously, bu I think it's more for the name of the song than a meaning.

Not sure. Like I said I don't know much about 'em. I've had these two songs stuck in my head lately though.

Oh dear, that’s a little strongly worded against someone whom you have never met nor know anything about their social beliefs or actions, don’t you think?

I agree with JesusCrust in the sense that he is perhaps an anarchist sympathizer. Anyone who has the ability to critique society in a way that isn’t adhering to the typical 21st century capitalist-conservative westernized world view is credible to some kind of applause in my eyes. Regardless of whether he identifies as specifically anarchist or is just an angsty and apathetic wandering soul, he does express feelings towards government and society that we don’t see coming out of any top 40 bullshit.

My point being he’s not my style of music at all, but I definitely would not judge him due to his record label or how overrated he is. I think he’s a great guy for having the ability to look at the world in a way others don’t.

Yeah I'm a fan of his stuff, I didn't think much of it upon first listen but it's really grown on me. He has some brilliant lyrical content and portrays emotion really well I reckon.
