Finally! Bootlicker, the bulldozer from Vancouver treats us to an album. After a demo and four EPs, all of them gradually better than the last one, this LP is more than welcome. 14 tracks of the style the band has accustomed us to : some furious hardcore punk/d-beat, but with a slight taste of UK82, with very little distortion on the guitar while still sounding fucking enraged, and bass and drums precise like a military march (but don't be fooled, this band isn't a fan of licking boots). Bootlicker is one of the best bands of these troubled times, and this self-titled LP is one of the best thing to happen in 2021 so far.
