I agree I was just busting butchies balls for semi throwing the chilean companhieros under the bus so to speak but truly I wholeheartedly agree that it is a very premature idea to have a permanent black bloc....what the fuck does that even mean? The Idea of permanency is panacea to a black block...And Butch the Black Nova read it the same way I originally did, it just came off as a dis even though you didn't mean it that way.

 

I'd guess you meant anethema rather than panacea, Mar. Weird words have a way of inserting themselves when I type too fast also--I think one word and a totally different one appears in the post. If I had a cell phone I could blame auto-correct, but I don't and it is all my own fault because my mind is too busy to check on what my fingers are doing.

Good luck with the young anarchists and directing them in a positive direction I too have met young peeps who were radicalized in Occupies and started too call themselves anarchists, with an anger inside against something they were becoming aware of and wanted to take direct action and were tired of marching up and down the streets. I have befriended them and shared books, zines and talked to them and still do, some have been arrested in actions they have traveled to in other cities to participate in.

I liked you’re use of the term going Chilean, as they did as recent as March 29th, 2012 the day of the young combatant.

Technically Chileans are Chilean all the time. An I agree, the day of the young combatant is a very nice way to remember some people killed by the State.

BTW, I'm not in a position to influence these young anarchists (I don't get out much), derek is.

And yes sobriety is often overrated, for instance, I have to attend that bloody Socialist Alternative conference tomorrow. Perhaps being off my face may make it less horrific. Such is life I guess.
