Best (current) female Crust?

i guess ya like Crust or not and they often have a creed to go on. Womyn in the world, lady punk bands, simple as it should be and good bands are different or full of passion, women aren't aliens

 

Voetsek's got some female vocals, it's quite thrashy and hardcore...and half the time she sounds male.

I don't think Witch Hunt has been mentioned. Interpunk says, "Musically they can be compared to Behind Enemy Lines meets Lost World",neither of whom I'm familiar.

I THINK they're good, but I'm not really up to that level of harshness. I'm still easin' in with stuff like Contravene. Fall of Efrafa is pretty much as harsh as I go right now. If I ever get acclimated to that level of harshness, I'll definitely check out Witch Hunt some more, and, since they're local, I'll probably catch a show.

They aren't crust, but Death First is female fronted and Zombie Dogs is all female punk rock. Harum Scarum is pretty awesome and still together, last I hear anyways.

Ah, Bone Black are fucking awesome. They were in Guelph last week and I picked up their 6-song tape, which I'll post here as soon as I get around to uploading it.

 

Glad I found this thread, been dying for some female fronted crust, haven't really heard any I didn't really like.

I would like to point out (unless i misread or misinterpreted) ATU (Appalachian Terror Unit for those that don't know) is still together and playing shows. Just not touring, kinda staying local and getting to their personal lives for a while. I think they got a split with Oi Oipolloi in the works. Which i'm pumped about, been dying for some new ATU tracks.

 

Bleh, crust is shite. Sacrilege is the best female fronted band. \m/

 

Just discovered the Swedish band Worst Case Scenario. Great melodic crust with female vocals.
