FUNERAL ORATION, TERVEET KADET AND RATTUS were the only bands that we actually asked if they'd contribute some music for the tapes. So this split tape with F.O. and GEPOPEL was done 100% by them. We felt kinda shy about modifying what they sent it cuz we'd asked them so we released it as is. If we did our usual only releasing songs that sounded great to us we'd basically have not used a single GEPOPEL song and have cut off a few of the F.O. songs. What we never did was edit a song. It was always used 100% as it was from very beginning to very end of each song as submitted. We also made it a point when we put the comps together to have as little time between songs as humanly possible. Seemed to fit a HC comp much better than the typical blank sound time between songs and maybe even between bands. I'm glad we did that.

Gotta seriously disagree with you on this one Chris...Gepøpel were great, a definite precursor to fastcore and Power Violence.
