I know these are old post but their is such a misunderstanding about skins. All it is is a working class street culture of ALL politics because its street-politics not so-muchley government politics, what you see on the street is your political stance. As for the term "skinhead" we could go through the history but for the most part is it had to do with working factory jobs and not wanting your hair caught in a machine, same goes for steeltoe boots, plus they were great for the futball fights
