Romance isn't feminist. It's often associated with sexism and patriarchy.

 

Google some feminist views on romanticism. Romanticism is often connected to male or female authoritarianism in a relationship or marriage. I'm personally bisexual, into safe, consentual, not for profit pornography, and fun, punk related sex work like gay stripping. I also have no problem with consentual sexual punishment, bdsm, anal, bondage, etc. I'm definitely antiRape, but I don't see date rape as a real form of rape.

 

The Nazis were definitely placid romanticists and part of a bourgeois Socialist Capitalist empire of fascism. I definitely don't like romanticism in my life. I feel that it is sexism, misogyny, misandry, and just unfair and greedy to control one's partner.

 

Maybe not all romances are bad, but feminists can agree with me that bad romances suck that are controlling and possessive.

 

I've been date raped before my femiNazis in BDSM relationships, it was kind of exciting and fun too hassle and harass each other back and forth. I wouldn't go so far to say date rape is real rape though, yo.

 

So yes, I don't like being controlled or possessed by anyone, therefore, I don't really like romanticism, but not all romances are bad and considered romanticism.

 

I thought date rape is consentual rape, I sure didn't like it at the time, but looking back on it, I can see the humor in it through my own bad experiences. I didn't enjoy BDSM really, I got beat up for it by jerks in my community, but yes, there are still punks in the scene that think pretending to be fascist or Nazis and Communist dictators is Cool. I don't think it's Cool, punk is supposed to be entertainment though too, so in a sense, I have to tolerate it or cops will beat me up.

 

I can agree with what you're saying. In no way was it fun to be date raped.

 

It wasn't fun being beat up by cops either for bullying FemiNazis mildly, but I learned my lesson that violence and bullying is not Punk Rock or accepted in punk scenes.

 

I still despise fascist and dictator ideas in Punk Rock, even though I don't Hate the people or music, I will never be Right Wing, maybe sarcastic about it, but I can't stand authoritarians or stricts, so why would I be Right Wing?

 

I just want Peace, Love, Anarchy, equality, liberty, and freedom.

 

I'm definitely antiCapitalist. I wouldn't say I'm for oppressing anyone though, I just Hate Capitalism. True, I've been sarcastic about liking it in my past, but I really Hate the Capitalist system and always have. It's a ponzi, pyramid, scheme for rich elitists.
