Why did I add my fave bands to my profile when that list can only be viewed by me? Dec 19, 2020

About
I am a Linux user and have been using that for about 15 years now and with each passing day I grow happier still that I am no longer using Windows. Linux is perfect for me as its philosophy matches mine quite well. It's open, non-commercial, it is decentralised, it is customizable to your heart's content and community-supported. And if you don't like the community or philosophy behind distro ABC, you can just switch to distro XYZ.
I know that many people here have strong opinions on religion and other forms of personal faith. I used to call myself a Christian, but American right-wing conservatives have ruined that term forever and it conjures up certain political stances and opinions which I absolutely have nothing to do with. I therefore now choose to call myself a believer.
I am not here to make converts, so no worries. My beliefs are, however, deeply personal and an integral part of me and although I am no Bible basher, my beliefs may on occasion shine through.
I have recently been reading a little on Christian Anarchism or Anarcho-Christianity if you will and although I am no expert yet, I am confident that I do fit in that little corner.
I am a collector of Christian punk music, the origins of which can be traced back to at least the first album of proto-punk band Death which was recorded in 1974. I do keep the worst right-wing and whatever-phobic crap out of my collection, I have no patience for that (I know some doozies of examples). However, I also have quite a bit of Anarcho- and other punk and enjoy that very much, even if some/most of those bands may attack my personal beliefs but I write that up to bad experiences with the kind of jackasses that spread their hate and intolerance and use Christianity as an excuse for that.
http://eng.anarchopedia.org/Christian_anarchism seems to cover many of my personal views and opinions though, so if you want to know more about me, just read that.
I am not a well-read person and am not good with intellectual conversations and although I understand most of the "big words", they fail to keep my attention and typically appear pretentious to me. My reasons for <insert whatever> are usually good reasons for me, but putting these reasons in words is a different matter.
Some of my personal keywords are: free will, freedom of choice, DIY, acceptance, non-judgemental, open dialog, and just plain being human.
