Hey everyone, my name is Mike and i have recently stumbled upon this community. I live in Denver, CO, in the US and I'm 21. Embarrassingly, I spent many years apathetic to political, social, and ecological issues, focusing rather on getting fucked up and listening to street punk(surprise, surprise) But in the past few years I have become very interested in why things are the way they are, and what action I can take to make things better for my community. I hope to learn a lot here and make friends who can recommend good music and literature. '
    In solidarity...

Hello comrade! Welcome to the website. I live in Aurora but I could run to Denver from my house in about 5 minutes haha. What part of Denver are you in?

Interesting area you live in. My family is actually considering moving back to Park Hill if I get into art school. And yes I am a fan of Blast-O-Mat Clusterfux is my favorite local band so I find myself in there ever so often.

It is interesting, It's typically been an young artist neighborhood since a few decades after it was built. But recently it has been kind of gentrified by hipsters. go figure. What art school are you looking at?

Yeah 13th is the land of the hipsters. Sometimes I feel like driving a tank down that street haha. And Denver school of the arts (the highschool) I'm the youngest person on here but certainly not the dumbest (If your looking for that guys his name is Jack) ;)

Haha.. Goddamn hipsters. Just be careful, if you put two hipsters too close to eachother, they deem it to be far too mainstream and the result is an atomic explosion. Probably best to stay off 13th there, Jack. :)

But welcome to the website. I had no idea Denver had so many political punks in it. And here i was, thinking it was just me and Jack.
