Hi, I'm Timmy R.O.T., I live in the Midwest of the USA (Iowa to be exact). I am in a band called Ring Of Truth we have been around in various forms since the fall of 2004. R.O.T. has released the following CDs "The Unity Split" with A Sheltered Resistance, "Love and Honesty Split" (an acoustic release with Restless Dreamers from Minneapolis), "Live at Cheap Thrills Split" (a live split with Bill Cosby Murder Project), and "An Act Of Love" (our first full length, and it is an all acoustic CD). I play guitar and sing.

What Ring Of Truth Sounds like: (electric line-up) we play fast hardcore anarcho-peace punk much in the vein of Subhumans, Crass, MDC... (acoustic) we play anarcho-peace-folk-punk. To this band the lyrics and the message are the focal point, to me the message of a band far outweighs the sound of the band.

My influences (bands), Chumbawamba, Subhumans, Crass, Zounds, Aus-Rotten, Andrew Jackson Jihad, Ryan Harvey, Shannon Murray... and more bands than I would like to list, talk to me if you want to know more.

On a personal not, I live in a small town in North East Iowa with my girlfriend and soon to be born baby boy. I work at a middle school as an student aid. Aside from music and politics I am also a into RPG gaming stuff like Final Fantasy for video games, and I am also in to playing D&D, and my girlfriend really got me into anime.

As far as politics go: I am anti-facist, anti-capitalist, anti-war, pro-gay, pro-choice, pro-animal rights, etc. basically to sum it up I believe in Anarchy, Equality, Unity, and Peace, and I believe that if we all work together we can build better communities, and a better world. I also don't believe in music scenes other than as a way to help build community that goes beyond music.

I guess that takes care of introduction so if you wanna know more just ask.
