Suicide

sorry to hear of your loss (F)Axegrinder)(E). i can't imagine how difficult this is for you. do you have a good support network for yourself during this time? family? friends? anyone you trust in your life? you should really go to them and ask for help and support.
Please be gentle with yourself. And please take care of yourself.

 

I feel for ya Axegrinder. I am sorry for your loss. I had a friend (not my best friend but still), take his own life but because he thought he was alone and all. I have a manic-depressive, bi-polar, PTSD girlfriend that i live with as well, so it can get tough at times. Hope you feel better man. Cheers

I'm sorry for your loss, that seems to be all I can say, except for the fact that if you need to talk you can always PM me. I've lost my best (and at the time virtually only) friend to suicide as well a few years back, so I can imagine what you're going through.

 

sorry about your loss, and i agree with everything your friend said about how we are just fucking the world up and people just murdering innocent people. its not okay and we should do something to try to stop it

 

first if all, im sorry for your loss, second, i think if u make points about how horrible the world is, and u do nothing to try and fix it, and think ending your life is the solution, then you are a coward. (or maybe misguided.) Taking your own life after identifying a problem but doing nothing to try and fix it makes you look like you just didn't care, and passed said problem on to others.

 

holy shit Anxiety what an incredibly thoughtless and profoundly insensitive thing to say! This was his best friend you are talking about! where the hell do you get off making this kind of unfounded and recklessly ill informed judgment call ?! i honestly can't believe you went there.

It is extremely difficult to lose a loved one to suicide. The intense pain can be exacerbated by the stigma that is associated with suicide.
This stigma is rooted in ignorance.
The insensitive, ignorant, and cruel statements that suicide survivors are sometimes subjected to defy common sense!
Ignorance is not an excuse, think before you write in the future.

Over 90 percent of the people who die by suicide were suffering from depression or a similar mental illness at the time of their death. they are NOT cowards, they were suffering.

 

I'm so very sorry to here about your loss. (feel free to totally ignore this) But just out of curiosity, was there anything else going on in his life that may have lead him to suicide? (not that his reasoning was flawed it just doesn't seem like a direct cause)

 

sorry, i had a friend commit suicide before, and I think he was a fucking coward for it. I understand there is no ryme or reason to it sometimes, but if the whole reason Axegrinders friend did it was what he posted, then i agree with my own statement... however it is likely there was more wrong then met the eye. I wasn't trying to be a jerk, just stating an opinion.

 

anxiety is kinda right but sumtimes its just not the right time to state an opinion
