After the thread on crustpunks.com, I thought I'd share another place where I go (pretty much for patches and studs).

    http://www.angryyoungandpoor.com

The one issue I've had with AYP was when I ordered a Minor Threat backpatch, they accidentally sent me the small version of it. An email later, they said keep the small one, immediately mailed out the right one free of charge. Most times that I get patches from them, I get everything that I ordered with a free duplicate or two. As far as background I know that it was started by a couple of punks out in Pennsylvania and that they have a physical store somewhere. It's probably the best place that I know of for crap like that.

Any other thoughts on AYP or other places online to get patches n shit?

I dont use it, I did think it was neat how they had the deal going for buying 5 dollars worth of matches and buttons and getting the shipping free though. Dont know if its true anymore.

I've used them before... but they're too expensive. I think it's funny how expensive "punk" clothes are.

    DIY :)

12-13 bucks for a shirt, $1 patches and reasonably priced studs seems fair enough to me.
I dunno about other stuff. The bondage pants and shit are expensive but I don't buy them. Their in-house brand "No Future" sells pretty cheap versions of plaid pants and such.

The shirts (a lot of them, at least) and small stuff like patches/pins aren't expensive.. but everything else is. Shoes, pants, jackets, purses, etc. I've never looked at the no future stuff, though. Not that I would buy bondage/plaid pants or pants over the internet in general, though.
    And I'm cheap.

Nice stuff unfortunately they only carry 'boys' sizes, the largest being XL which is two to four sizes too small :ecouteurs:

What are you talking about? We're discussing a place where you can buy "punk" type fashion shit from a small distro, not walmart or target. I fail to see how discussing a place to buy things automatically becomes "un-anarchist."

lot of crappy bands, but there's some good stuff. I ordered a lot of stuff from here in the past.

Only problem is sometimes they have out of stock items and they're still showing it as "available" on their website. They don't even refund you, instead they send you a "angry young and poor coupon" so if you want to get back your money for the stuff you didn't get you have to make ANOTHER order..... and guess what happen if your new order is still out of stock ? ....

When that happened to me recently they sent me an email asking if they could substitute something else. I gave them a couple of options that were also out of stock so they just gave me a refund for that item.

Again not everyone can, and we dont live in an anarcho society where bartering can be used to aquire such things yet. I agree, lighten up.
