"So what kind of music do you like?"
"I like a lot of punk rock, underground metal, ya know..."
"Oh! So you like Asking Alexandria and Suicide Silence."
    "Uhm, no, not at all."
"But you HAVE to have to like Asking Alexandria!"
Seriously had someone tell me that once.

Also on the agenda: Trendy hipsters with faux-hawks and this goddamn malware that keeps generating pop-ups and sludging up my computer. Can't seem to get rid of it no matter how many scans I run.

Sounds like something I got rid of the other day. Are these pop-ups embedded into random words and then pop up when you move your mouse over them?

Some of them, but most of them pop up whenever they damn well please. It's changed my homepage to trovi.com. Looked up the virus and everything I found told me to uninstall the trovi software, but the tricky little bastard screwed up my uninstall system so whenever I try to uninstall its associated programs I get an error message.

Hmm... I'm not sure if it'll work but you could try removing it from your registry with a registry cleaner... or simply reformat your harddrive, haha. Although those registry cleaners never seem to work properly for me. Most of them say free registry cleaner but then once they've scanned your registry they prompt you to pay for the product. But who knows, with a bit of research and a bit of luck you might find one that actually does what it promises, at least for a limited time or something.
The ones embedded in the words on the other hand are easy to get rid of, just go to this website: intext.nav-links.com/help.html and click on opt out.

I also use this browser add-on, adblock plus, which blocks all normal ads for me.

So good to see Walmart doing their part in helping keep the true spirit of punk alive!

A very, very loose definition of punk. If loose translated loosely to "completely fabricated".

People who repeatedly restate an argument without adapting to points the other side has made
    Censorship
Censorship that claims to not be censorship
The argument that anything that "protects the children" is justified (ie. censorship)
    Tipper Gore
People who say they're right as if that in itself is an argument
People who are offended by people disagreeing with them
    Loud chewing of squishy food
People who say a word too often (for instance, the word "Quite*)
    The word quite
    Michael Bay
    Forest Gump
    Ignorant yet pompous people
    Pompous people
The fact that the popemobile is so boring - with such a cool name that mother fucker should fly

Damn, the popemobile IS a letdown. You'd think the church of all groups would take some ideas from Batman. Grappling hooks, driving up walls, whatever.

The popemobile could also play ice-cream truck music, to lure some young boys in...nobody would be surprised :)

And another thing that has really been grinding my teeth lately; my spoiled dick of a rommate. The kid grew up in a mansion and has no conception that anyone matters but him.
He owes our third roommate over 500 bucks in unpaid rent/bills that she's had to cover him on, and we've only been living here for 3 months. Besides that, he's extremely rude. He knows that I have zero sexual interest in him whatsoever, and yet one night he decided it would be just HILARIOUS to try shoving me into his room shouting, "WE'RE GONNA HAVE SEX." I shoved him off of me and told him that was never going to happen and he could screw off. He acts like a child, makes snarky remarks about my appearance, septum piercing, boots, etc. Plays his video games extremely loud all day and all night. Once he pounded on my door screaming like the house was on fire while I was trying to catch some sleep before my 8:00 AM class. Of course, nothing was wrong. He just thought it would be funny to interrupt my sleep.
I already gave him the "we can't afford to keep covering you on bills" talk, and he just seemed to brush it aside nonchalantly. Of course he did. OUR money doesn't matter, what matters is that he can afford to eat out at Applebees or Jack in the Box every single night and pay for his ridiculous, $200 cell phone bill.
I've had it. If he doesn't have his rent and bills on time to the full extent this month, I'm going to talk to our third roommie about kicking him the hell out. I'm sure she'd be on board at this point.
