YES! I am a FOOL!! haha! M.F. Delicious "the impresario" aka DON Breako "The Big Breakfast" and those are just the latest of my many jack ass monikers! We actually are no longer on Profane Existence..they released a 1st and 2nd press of the INVENTION EXTINCTION LP ..and that's all to my knowledge. We bought the master DATs and reels back years ago so we could remix the LP and the unreleased HINDSIGHT E.P. and release it ourselves. All of the rest of the music we already owned and paid for it our selves. All our recordings are now on our own label: Healthy Fear of Tyranny records. The only thing that 's still being released on another label is the "In a few hours of madness..." E.P. on Vinyl . We've got a good relationship with Havoc so he's still in charge of the vinyl release. Every thing else: CDs, MP3, Further Vinyl releases, merch are all on and or made by H.F.T.records and will be available on our website. http://www.civildisobedienceband.com which will be back up with in the week. Profane hasn't released any of our material in 15 years...there are a few of those LPs still in circulation...If they have it was with out our consent or knowledge. I did hear something about some compilations CDS being released that had a few CIVIL D tracks on them..no members of the band were aware of this nor did any of us receive any copies that i'm aware of. Not that we would have expected anything more than a heads up and a few copies. Comps are great for exposure. But if they were actually released ..we were not aware of it... So any fucking way ...I 'll keep every one up to date, and I'll get all our Albums on MP3 up on this site for download. and the lyrics or links for the lyrics ...whatever works. Thanks Ungovernable for the assist. Cheers to all of those of you who supported us over the years and helped keep this alive! WE love you all !!

The best advice I can give you is to check out this tutorial www.anarcho-punk.net/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=4632&hilit=how+to+upload#p28660 and just follow steps 9 to 13, since I assume you already know how to upload files to mediafire. Or better still, upload to exoshare.com/

Well i said it's funny that you're on PE because they're against free file sharing and acting in the name of the bands on their label. Nothing against you or Civil Disobedience.

Just so you know, around 2 years ago Profane Existence asked us to remove all Civil Disobedience albums along with the whole PE discography because your band was published by Profane Existence and Dan is against file sharing and free downloads. So, like for many other bands, he took a stance in your name without even asking you, and taking a decision totally against your ideas.

This is just another argument proving that PE is misrepresenting anarcho-punk scene and even going against the ideas of the bands they release.

As for the uploads, Mediafire tends to delete everything for no reason. Use Exoshare, or even better, just put a link to your website if the songs are already available for download there.

Right on...well well well, thanks for letting me know fuckery was afoot! Yeah I wasn't offended, but I wasn't quite sure what you were referring to. I was just explaining that we are no longer on PE and haven't been for some time. I could go off about them ...but I'm going to let the already obvious speak for me in this case, so I will only speak to the topic at hand. Being against file sharing..especially for DIY bands and labels..is totally ass fucking backwards. We've owned most of our own music from the beginning and we bought everything they had any "right" to, back from them. We were never informed of the PE discog comp..nor were we even given a single fucking solitary copy that I'm aware of. Firstly the only music they released was the first (shitty mix) of The Invention Extinction LP. Two pressings. That's all. Everything else was ours...and now it all is. Our first official release, Political Prisoners, we released our selves anyway...he had no right to tell you to take it down...or any thing else we did for that matter. Please keep me appraised of any developments regarding such.

WE are all for people having access to all our music for free as long as those who can support the band in someway, do. I found the comment posted at the top of the page where the downloads were available the perfect example of what I'm saying: "If you liked this download then why not get it from them and support the band". Exactly. This shit was built on and maintained by people supporting one another, sharing every thing from food, to beer, to taping records. My first punk rock record was D.R.I. "Dealing with it". I was given a copy of a copy of a copy in 1987. That shit changed my life...most of my favorite bands were first introduced to me VIA copies of copies. Then I would be happy as a clam when I saw them play, or found their music in a record shop, which I gladly purchased! File sharing is no different. Just like that copy of a copy of a copy of the Icons on Filth demo ..or the Raw Power demo ..exposed tons of new people to new music..File sharing does the same. It helps keep the music alive... exposes you to new fans... like minded people. It can have a negative effect in certain circumstances financially if people do not, when they can afford to, support the bands they love and listen to. But being against file sharing ..or thinking you can stop it ..it just selfish and stupid.
