They were supposed to play in Paris in 2 months, but the geezer organizing the gig heard of this story and decided not to have Infa-Riot play, I think the Restarts, Liberty and Oi Polloi - who are meant to play this same gig - threatened to pull out if Infa-Riot were to play.

In the end, all is well since Hard Skin will be replacing them!

I'm sure since this post first appeared there have been a lot of very red faces.

Infa Riot never sold their arses to anyone and the author of this post
Steve Diy/Steven Lye has once again been proved to be a compulsive liar.

Quite ironic that a man (I use the term man loosely) who constantly accuses bands
and band members of being Nazis was himself exposed as
a Seig Heiling Blood & Honour supporter.
    See Blog below
    http://1999comesknocking.blogspot.co.uk ... t-lye.html

Steve Diy/Steven Lye has for years falsely accused Pete Roper of being a Nazi.
Yet at no time has he provided any evidence or facts to back up his constant false accusations.

Balefire did one interview. Well I say Balefire, Pete Roper did the interview.
Here is the apparent anti-Immigrant part of the interview

"Our main hobby these days is just trying to survive in 2010 Britain totally fucked up and destroyed by thirteen years of socialism and an immigration policy that threw open the floodgates to any piece of shit who wants to come here and kill our way of life! Barry is fighting off the bailiffs most days and I aint doing much better! Life is a fucking struggle right now."

How that makes him a Nazi or even Far Right is beyond me.

In 13 years in power the British Labour party sent British troops to fight pointless wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Wars which are still being fought to this day.

You can read the entire Balefire interview here
    http://balefirepeteroper.blogspot.co.uk/

Infa Riot quite rightly refused to bow to pressure from Mensi and Steve Diy/Steven Lye.
Steve Diy/Steven Lye constantly posted on the Infa Riot Facebook page saying "No one was calling them Nazis"

If you're reading this Steve Diy/Steven Lye produce one shred of evidence to prove your constant false accusations that Pete Roper is a Nazi.

And is it true Steve Diy/Steven Lye that you got arrested for having sex with a Sheep?

I'm sorry but that quote is quite fucking telling on his views of immigration and quite a nationalist bent on British way of life...

Seriously? Not to attack you personally, but you seriously think his statement concerning immigration does not constitute an expression of a far-right political perspective. Within the sordid spectrum of conservatism the more someone bemoans a supposed erosion of a "national culture" (i.e. "killing our way of life") the farther down the right-wing bullshit hole they sink. Conservatives who emphasize the mendacious canard of the negative economic impact (the whole "they took our jobs" rubbish) over this mythical "national culture" are viewed by the right as being closer to the center in comparison.

(To be clear, I am not saying that such a "national culture" exists in any sense other than as an instrument for the advancement of certain economic/political interests. I don't want to make it seem like I'm ignoring how/why nationalists manufacture and disseminate this "culture" or "way of life" and the various supposed "threats" to it. I'm just trying to explain how this bullshit fits into right-wing, rabid nationalism and conservative bigotry as a whole, if that makes any sense)

His quote about immigrants does not make him a Nazi!

If you think it does I'd advise you take a trip to your doctor!

The original poster on this thread claimed Pete Roper was a Nazi.

Where is the evidence to back up the years of false allegations levelled at Pete Roper and Retaliator?

    The evidence doesn't EXIST.

Not one shred of evidence to back up the years of false allegations that Pete Roper or any member of his band Retalitor were Nazis.

Do you think his comment about Immigration makes him a Nazi?

It is a simple and straight forwad question!

This comment makes him a fucking right-wing racist/ nationalist asshole. I am pretty sure that you can use the term Nazi for that. I don't want to make the word seem harmless or throw it around in every second sentence. But I think he earned it with this statement. He is afraid that people from other countries and with a different "cultural background" kill the way of life in Britain. I wonder what he means by that. Probably slavery, colonialism, imperialism and royalism. You seriously want to defend this comment? There could only be three reasons for you to do so. 1.) You stick to such a fucking right-wing ideology yourself. 2.) You are some die hard groupie of the band. 3.) You are a band member yourself. But no matter which reasons you have to defend crap like this, it's still an unacceptable point of view.

EDIT: Sad but true there are musicians and bands in the punk & skinhead scene who are just part of it for the music, the fun and the fame. You can see that especially in the 80s and 90s during the extreme uprising of nationalism when they weren't sure which side would win and were open for right-wing shitheads too. That's one of the reasons why Anarcho Punk became so important, to show dedication to a political and social statement and to kick the fence walkers in the head. Look what happened in the Metal scene. They almost took over the whole Black Metal genre. The same happened to big parts of the skindhead scene. Now you see a huge uprising of nationalism in Europe again. Now we should watch and let those right-wing assholes take over? No way!

What's up with all the troll accounts here recently? They mushroom up like crazy. Why do you try to attack me on a personal level? I guess "that funny isle" is close to "Annietown" and "gobbledigooks-city". Or are you just some butthurt fan? I'm happy that you figured out what English Defence League, Grauzone and No Nazi are. Wikipedia boosted your education, eh? Don't worry, skinhead! The antifa doesn't have a problem with you as long as you aren't a right-wing shithead. Or are you afraid that someone tries to stop your counterrevolution? By the way, your whole post is gibberish.

I can’t be bothered replying to all posts on here. But I find it funny I get called a troll. As telling the truth is not trolling. And of course you are unable to admit you’re wrong so I’ll leave you with this.

I love the phrases Fence Sitter/ Fence Walker as it’s a stupid phrase made up by idiots.

In the normal world inhabited by people who possess common sense a Fence Sitter/ Fence Walker is someone who won’t take sides in an argument.
Wow imagine not choosing to take sides.
You must be a Nazi then?

Of course anyone who thinks that a band or individual who chooses not to be bullied into making any form of political stance by Anti-Fascists is a Nazi is a clueless buffoon.

Thomas Mensforth (Mensi) and Roddy Moreno (Roddy) have made a good living out of perpetuating the myth that they’re Anti-fascist. Yet anytime anyone mentions Mensi’s pro-Nazi song The lonely man of Spandau you hear nothing but silence from Mensi. He’d like to bury that song.

Mensi tried and failed to bully Infa Riot and people saw through him. As did many Anti-Fascists who turned against him and he subsequently ended the Upstarts and took off to Thailand to find his latest victim.

But of course Thai brides don’t come cheap and the fat old cunt has been forced to get out his begging bowl and go on tour. Looking at the fat old man I’d be surprised if he lasted a few gigs before popping his clogs.

Of course during his time in the wilderness Infa Riot have played all over the world without any trouble. While Mensi has been doing his best Gary Glitter impression in the Far East.

And I read in the original post that the Balefire album came out On Jonesy from English Rose label. Jonesy has moved on from his past political stance and now operates non- politically. It’s a free world and whatever political choice he makes or doesn’t make is entirely up to him. And to back up this comment the Left-Wing band Overload released their debut album on Jonesy’s label. Last time I checked Overload where still Left-Wing.

And what about Mensi and Roddy’s partner in their failed Get off the Fence campaign?
Well shock of shocks Steven Lye / Steve Diy has been outed as a Nazi. Here’s a pic of this apparent Anti-Fascist Seig Heiling and a letter he wrote admitting he has friends in Blood & Honour. Not really the type of friend any decent Anti-Fascist wants is he?

    http://i793.photobucket.com/albums/yy21 ... 354633.jpg

    http://i793.photobucket.com/albums/yy21 ... 00817a.jpg

And why did Roddy and Mensi feel the need to start this campaign? Well it’s obvious the Oi! / Skinhead scene is thriving and they want to rid any bands who will take their gigs away from them. So they falsely accuse all the other bands of being Nazis!

It’s a simple but effective way for them to make money outside of Britain where people don’t realise that there is no problem in the British Oi! / Skinhead scene. A scene that Mensi and Roddy have not been part of since the late 80’s early 90’s.

You didn't even bother to read the posts, right? I called someone else a troll. I don't support any of those musicians. As far as I'm concerned, they all can suck my balls when they have a right-wing opinion.
But I see that you fanboy around here. If one of the musicians that I like would give statements like that I would still call him or her a right-wing asshole.

You are lucky that this isn't my forum. I would ban you right away for that. But at least you show your real face now, hm? You really wonder why people don't like right-wing assholes here and call them out on their fucked up statements? You should read the part about "...Anti-fascist, Anti-capitalist, Anti-authoritarian, Anarchist and... Punk !" again. You just came here to defend your favorite band and to spread right-wing ideology. Why don't you show us a statement where Infa Riot clearly distant themselves from the right-wing after that?

    As was my response.

You remarked that you could not see the connection between Nazism and certain far right anti-immigrant statements (such as the one you posted), I provided a partial explanation of why I (I can not speak for anybody but myself) make such a connection.
