Hey guys I'm back! Who missed me? ... *cricket* *cricket* Right then I might explain my absence if anyone wants me to, but that is not the purpose of this post. So yeah about a couple hours ago I was looking for some live footage of bands and I stumbled into a recent live show of the Texas Punk band Verbal Abuse, who I admit I sort of liked prior to the discovery, I always liked alot of the Texas punk bands because of their strong anti-conservative stance like MDC and The Dicks or their intense speed. Verbal Abuse never said anything truly political but I simply assumed they leaned towards more-so with MDC and the rest of the Texas bands because they were friends back in the day (Oh how I was wrong). This video I posted is from a recent show they had this year in June, you right off the bat can see the Lead Singer Nicki Sicki wearing a shirt saying "angry white male"...While that is a very ignorant way to advertise one's self it doesn't necessarily put him or the band on the Dodgy spectrum, but after the second or third song you get a good view of the Celtic Cross on the back of his shirt. For those who don't know the Celtic Cross has been more commonly used by Neo-Nazi idiots and white-pride nutjobs. I don't think it's a coincidence that symbol would be on the back of a shirt with that title! Honestly I don't know the band well enough to make the claim they are officially right-wing boneheads. But that shirt is not something you can get at your local store folks! You have to look for it on the web! So I am coming to you guys to discuss this to hopefully either show me the error my ways or give your spin what you see before you!

You couldn't be more wrong about Nicki, I've played with Verbal Abuse and hung with the band and the one thing that comes across is his sense of being a merry prankster and sarcastic as shit...he definitely is an angry white man but not in the sense of being racist...

I get what you are saying and honestly I really like this band, it's just the the celtic cross on the back of the shirt that's bothering me alot is all, I mean maybe it belonged to a friend and it was given to him, I don't know. Maybe it's like Murphy's Law in the sense the lead singer name is Jimmy Gestapo, but you know he is kidding cause he is Jewish and their current saxophonist is black. I actually had a chance to hang out with Jimmy and the reason he has that handle was influenced by Reagan Youth, which we all know uses ALOT of sarcasm. I am willing to give this band the benefit of the doubt because they have never given a reason to think otherwise prior.
