Well, there isn't too much to say. I'm from Uruguay, a country with a nice punk scene. Yes, English is not my native language, so you'll probably see at least one error in my posts.
I'm a teenage who has recently discovered punk (13-14 months ago perhaps). I'm into almost all types, excepts stupid bands like blink182 (the 90s/00s "pop punk")
I've always lived in a small shitty city, most people treat me like a weirdo because of my thoughts and opinions, but i really don't care about that.
    I play bass.
I'm listening to The Lurkers right now.
I will upload some Cds and stuff.
    Cheers.

    Thanks for the responses.
There is a lot of good local punk bands, you should listen to "La Sangre de Veronika", "La verguenza de la familia" and "Guerrilla urbana" if you want old school punk.
I'd also recommend bands like "cikuta", "plankton", "aliento alkoliko", "rudos wild", "mel-alkoholicos", "exsesos" and "motosierra" (that last one is more rock'nroll, but their first two albums are a must-listen)
I have a compilation with lots of bands from 1983 to 2001, I will upload it later.

Great, thanks. Guerrilla Urbana sounds familiar but I haven't heard of any of the other bands. I'll try'n check them out! Yeah, I'll definitely look forward to that compilation, I guess some of them will be on there

Cikuta had released their first single on 7'' vinyl and Cd by UK label No Front Teeth Records a couple of months ago.
Most of the other bands had released their music only on cds, I'm not sure about all of them.
