Amazing, anthemic, intelligent, political Chicano punk troup complete with a horn section hailing out of San Francisco. Powerful, passionate, well performed, honest working class epics of the joys and struggles of everyday life & drinking are what you'll get from a band that could not be more aptly named, La Plebe, meaning the common person! Let me just say that these guys don't fuck around, this isn't ska, just straight up punk rock at its very best, with horns, in english y español, enjoy!
According to their web site, these guys have got a couple other earlier ep releases, so if anybody out there has got anything else by these guys it would be much appreciated.

    La Plebe Biography

La Plebe is a San Francisco Bay Area-based latin/ska punk/punk rock/skacore band known for energetic live shows . In 2005, they released a CD titled Entre Cerveza, Ritmo, Y Emocion produced by Faith No More's Billy Gould on the Desarme SF label. The debut features 7 originals plus a rousing spanglish cover of Ewan MacColl's "Dirty Old Town", whose chorus was previously made famous by The Pogues. La Plebe followed this up in 2007 with Hasta La Muerte on KoolArrow in the E.U and the better distributed Red Scare imprint in the U.S which offered the band exposure online download sites such as via iTunes and eMusic . La Plebe's most recent album Brazo En Brazo was released through Koolarrow Records on November 9, 2010.
