Although this aggression has been continued since 2001, the other day Obama decided to garrison about 30.000-40.000 forces in Afganistan. In continuation of it, its help offered Poland, UK, Italy, Czech Republic, Russia and Georgia. France and Germany are thinking about such help too.

No wonder that this "war" stands in one row with Vietnam and Iraq. USA says that it wants to give people freedom, but there's no secret that its just an imperial war to get power and money.

so the question is: do you resist this in your country ? what do you think about this aggression?

More and more countries are starting to get sick of this war.

France said 1 month ago that they "will never send 1 more soldier to afghanistan". Germany is also tired of the war, and Australia doesn't want to be part of it anymore.

Russia well, no wonder why they agree with this war.... They got their ass kicked in afghanistan a couple of years ago..

Yes there have been a couple of protests called "canada get the fuck out of afghanistan"

Opium production in middle east has gone up 90% since the war started.
    Coincidence?

I like to think the Oi polloi song - Americans out!
can be applied to any country

Obama is a figurehead. He is the smiling face of the neo-imperial war machine. Without war all the time, the U.S. economy would crash. I see very little effective resistance being mounted against the war in my country. Part of the problem is, even though a sizeable majority of U.S.ers oppose the war, they don't know how to oppose it in a way that matters. The entire anti-war movement, which was already preoccupied during the last administration with shaming men who were beyond such feelings, collapsed in on itself to support Obama--a candidate who was not anti-war but, rather, "less pro-war" than his Republican counterpart. A massive general strike that involves the at least the trucker and dockworker unions is the only thing I see stopping this. I doubt something like that would every happen in my country. :(

At least my insignificant, tiny country is trying to stop sending troops. Or at least they've decided to debate in parliament whether we should send troops or not and most info in the news leans towards not going.
Then again... Harry Potter, our prime minister, is the teacher's pet of the US's classroom.

From Aurora, Colorado: From what I've seen, the majority of the people here seem to lean against the war, however lethargically. I'm 14, and most people of my age seem to have some political views, however lack the most important part; knowing why they believe what it is that they believe. I certanly am against the war, and any war in general for that matter. 9/11 wan as inside job to justify an imperialistic war, and the government thinks we're dumb enough to buy their lies. Even the mask they use to hide the truth is.. Wrong. Freedom cannot be spread with a gun.

No I don't resist it in my country because I don't want to go to prison.
And also I sent care packages to a couple people I know who are very close to me when they were in theatre because they asked me to and I was glad to help.
I do not believe there is any significant, outweighing positive effect of the war in Afghanistan. It doesn't make much sense to me because I always feel like I have to see things from multiple points of view as opposed to simply taking sides with a particular group of people.
It's a shithole country and it will be like that for a long fucking time and it's unrealistic for anyone to believe otherwise because of a foreign military presence. I do not believe the real objective of the governments of these foreign militaries and NATO is to liberate.

There is constant fighting in some eastern areas of the country, near the Pakistani border, typically involving small outposts and small elements of combat troops like maybe a single platoon or less. Of those 30-40,000 how many are actually combat troops, and even then, do you think very many of them will be sent to areas where there is constant fighting? No.

What's the fucking point? Let them fuck their goats and spay their daughters when they turn 13.

Good job realising the obvious about our country but....."Let them fuck their goats and spay their daughters"? Dude Fuck you. What gives you such a superior mindset to another people? We're all human, cultures may be different but never does anyone have the right to be prejudiced to another group of humans.

    yeah I didn't say that

unlike many people here, i don't believe that people dying on one side is better than the other because of politics.

And because there is no real Government left,
The decision is still to be made,

and if there's going to be a mainly socialistic Government (which is quite possible),
we'll get the f*ck out of there before 2011 :)

Our country worries about our economy and very selfish to keep the people from overthrowing the government. Imagine if our the US became another depression. I think there would be riots and chaos in the streets. Not a pretty picture. I just worry about the innocent people that are being affected by this war. I hope that this war will be over soon. Too many things on the balance scale for this war.
