Any Punks in/near Pittsburgh Pa?

I have recently noticed that living in the middle of nowhere leaves me pretty alone, and everyone i know has either moved, died, or rejected me (i told my now ex that i was an anarchist and a nihilist, one thing led to another and now its over, she was a dumb bitch anyway). I'm basically trying to find anyone that wont judge me, and has similar tastes in music. I live around the Pittsburgh area but i live far enough in the woods that no one know where the fuck i am :/ . Its awesome because no one bothers me, and at the same time sucks because IM ALONE IN THE FUCKING WOODS !!!... :/ Anyway, instead of going crazy and talking to trees i want to talk to people, any offers?

Firstly, i don't think the word "Bitch" is apportiate, but if she can't accept your life choices

i think the best thing you could do is look around your town for gigs or political youth parties,federations whatever, i am sure you are going to find people .

Thanks for the advice about the meeting people stuff. Regarding the "bitch" thing, you wernt there when we had the "ideology" conversation. 6 months of being together ment nothing, and she sent me a video of her burning all my shit she had and kept calling me "god less" and other crazy shit all through the video. When I call her a "bitch" it's out of respect I once had for her and I'm trying to be nice.

One of my favorite anarcho band Behind Enemy Lines is from Pittsburgh, so for me it is hard to imagine that there is no punks around Pittsburgh.For me it would be advantage to live there.Take some actions and meet new people.
If i want to go see some good shows,gigs i have to travel to capitol city(200km)l or bigger towns in my country.

Nature that is around you should be your consolation in this fucked up world.I grew up in similiar place(enviroment)like you, surrounded with people that takes NO for an answer,conservative bunch that was in the end a reason to move from there, but i alwasy love to return home and enjoy that beautiful nature,silence that is all around me.

Kobac, thanks for the advice. I understand how you felt, i have crazy preachers threatening to blow up clinics near me for some reason, no idea why, they just are. I cant wait till i can leave here.

If youre looking for shit to do in Pittsburgh, check out the Mr. Roboto Project. It is a collectively run show space. There are shows there, at Kopec's, the 31st street pub, among other places. Check out nevertellmetheodds.org for postings. Skullfest is a punk fest that happens every year in pittsburgh. the site is skullfestpgh.com. Good shit.

Used to be from there, plenty of good stuff to do. Ntmto probably has a link to the do it again calendar somewhere on it if you're looking for productive stuff to do that isn't shows. If you like wrenching on bikes try freeride.
