"Happy" punk?

    I don't know how to explain this exactly. I love punk music, mainly hardcore, crust and grind but on Friday I went to this gig. There was this awesome band playing, I think they were kind of ska (I'm not 100% sure what ska is) but definitely punk rock. Anyways, the music was punk rock without being pop punk and had happy undertones. It was boppy and one could both mosh and dance to it. Do you guys know what I mean?
