Local Teen Center in my town

SO there is this teen center in my town now. actually its been here for a couple years i think but i just started to notice it really. and its a voluntary place where kids like middleschool to highschool can come and hang out. theres like 3 giant tvs, 2 Ps3's, lots of pool tables and ping pong tables.And tons of couches and tables(and there is a little stand where they sell soda and chips and snacks;relatively cheap also. like 50 cents for a soda.) sometimes there is a big bouncy house thing that kids can jump around in and play in. and you can just come in freely and chill whenever its open. and its usually open almost every day i think. although you can only go in and out once a day. but i was thinking and this is kinda a cool little place. i dont much like it personally just because the kids that go there are mainly in middle school and everyone is obnoxious and they always play loud music thats either pop or dubstep or whatevers popular i guess lol. but thats just me. i still think its kinda rad that some people got together and made a free organization that kids can enjoy when they want. its housed in our old highschool also. and lots of kids seem to like it. i see some highschool kids there too so some of those kids like it too.

the only thing im really wondering about it is how it is funded? i would like to think its funded by the volunteers there but i am not sure at all.

Another thing is that i feel like the highschool we all go to;it kind of uses it as a prop. as kinda a sideshow and supports it and puts on little shows there sometimes so the kids become complacent towards school and never questions the school at all. as if school is always good in all it does. like it makes them think like "of course the school system is great, it supports the teen center. and the teen center is great so the school is awesome!"and it kind of sets a tone or mentality that gives the kids more reason to like the school. when they should really be pissed off that the school system forces them to sit in a desk for 7 hours a day.

I dont know this is just my theory, but still i think its cool that some people got together and created a place where kids can freely come in and have fun and mess around when theyre bored.

And this is coming from a kid in high school who still has to sit in a desk for 7 hours a day. i could be be just pissing of a rant or i could be on to something. who knows.
