I think it's incredibly ironic that you guys are making fun of letitfall's post by posting a black flag video featuring henry rollins, a guy who wrote his own poetry and gave it away at punk shows so other punks could see it...

WTF is up with that? Fuck off with your bullshit critiques that offer no constructive criticism. And so what if you already knew it, he isn't wrong, and the sentiment bears repeating anyway.

 

Seconded. The people who flock to websites like this are those who feel ostracized by modern society. Regardless of what they have to say, they want and deserve to be heard. Just as the degradation of the individual by society destroys unique thought, so too does straight rejection of the individual by other individuals. Rather than cut straight to criticism, let's appreciate that this guy is saying something that the majority of us agree with and enjoy the fact that we have a new comrade.

Hey, I'm sorry I missed your 666th post, but let me be the first one to congratulate you on that achievement \m/

 

I was not making fun of his post ryan1980, i think Black Flag was pointing out the horror and having fun doing so at the reality that sometimes "modern man" does to entertain or to escape from this world, and does so into TV Parties, as it did the sunday i posted the Black Flag video... In the United States there were around 108.4 million people that were at "TV Parties" that day!!! Cuz it was super bowl sunday...

Chill out ryan1980 "Letitfall" has no problem speaking his mind and stating his ideas or opinions as he's done before, talking shit to me and trying to put me down...

I think Letitfall was venting and so was I and I was having fun too while venting, or was it grande

Letitfall can take care of himself, and if he thinks I or anyone else here is making fun of him I think he will tell us...

As to Henry Rollins thats cool he did that, as many people continue to do today with shit they make, I like some of H. Rollins shit hes written down, it reminds me a lot of Bukowski

Anyway, on a more serious note, apathy is passivity. It avoids confrontation with the problems with the world. It's a similar issue that I take with being apolitical. Don't be apolitical, be anti-political. Don't react to the system with apathy but with antipathy.
