    Hello everyone , my name is Diego Menendes and i am coming from city of center of Europe called Ljubljana.
    I will off course join you also in music debates, 'cause i was into Punk for the biggest part of my life, but first I wanna show you a trailer for a film I made.
    I made this film about the ideas of left and right, I show my city in different times from Capitalism, Fascism and Communism,
    from different totalitarian times, it also shows the short view of European national, ethnic, racial, and religious conflicts.
    You have left wing and right wing people, well I am not any of these, and this film tries to show you that political identification
    is always developing on your life experience's conditions. Movie title is "We Are All Ljubljana/Laibach" (the name used by Nazis and Fascists), so in this time of crisis it seems that all totalitarian ideas are coming back very dangerously, check the trailer i hope you like it and maybe we can discuss something about it and of course on music.

    based on the trailer, my first impression is that it's a shitty version of zeitgeist: the movie. BUT that doesn't mean i won't check it out.
    not everything in the world can be first-class cinema (not implying zeitgeist was first-class cinema). do you have a potential release date yet? i'll still check it out when the time comes.

    Hello everybody, it's Serbia calling, Belgrade,
    I'm very, very interested in this documentary, cause this trailer is too much strong and powerful to be bad as a full movie, that's for sure, I have no doubt. I have also my own blog on documentaries, ABRAXAS 365 - http://abraxas365dokumentarci.blogspot.com , so I would like to make like some kind of promotion there, with author's introduction, this awesome trailer and so on, bukvalno brate whatever you want, so we can make every posible combination, and I'm trully opened for everything related to this type of docs.

    But also, if you have really finished this film, I would like to ask you is there any chance for you to send me the full doc to watch it in REVIEW ONLY purposes, of course, if you're still not ready to put it for free on NET, cause maybe you're making a DVD to sell it, so I won't spoil the thing, of course. So you can check my blog, what is about, and you can decide if you want my REVIEW. Of course I do reviews both in Serbian and English, so it could be awesome, cause I have many visitors from around a globe, and people like to read that, but I'll be satisfied also with just this TRAILER and author introduction if full doc is not yet ready. The choice is yours, cause ART DEMANDS FANATICISM! Thanks, hvala, živeli!

    @menendez,
    im also interested in your movie. could you tell us any more details about it? does it says anything about tomaž hostnik and how he died??

    @poshy,

    it has nothing to do with zeitgeist, but with very well-known slovenian band laibach. theres lots about them on internet, so you can check them out, they are at least biographically one of most interesting bands ever.... the author probably put some political content through the story of the band, i dont know yet, but i hope to find out....

    yeah, i was a bit confused at the end of the trailer when you (i think it was you) "bumped into" someone with a laibach t-shirt. at first i thought it was the name of a country i never heard of, but then based on your reactions i dropped it and thought "could it be a band..?"
    i'll check them out. are there any potential release dates for the documentary?

    @kad budu gorjeli gradovi:
    Brate moj, izvinjavam se na engleskom, ali čisto da nas i ovi stranci skontaju.

    As I understood the statement of Menedez13 and trailer I think this is not a classic documentary about band LAIBACH, cause he said:

    "I made this film about the ideas of left and right, I show my city in different times from Capitalism, Fascism and Communism,
    from different totalitarian times, it also shows the short view of European national, ethnic, racial, and religious conflicts.
    You have left wing and right wing people, well I am not any of these, and this film tries to show you that political identification
    is always developing on your life experience's conditions. Movie title is "We Are All Ljubljana/Laibach" (the name used by Nazis and Fascists), so in this time of crisis it seems that all totalitarian ideas are coming back very dangerously."

    So, as you can see, Mendez13 didn't say a word about Laibach as a band here. Of course, in TRAILER you can see the biggest legend of Laibach, the first vocal, Tomaž Hostnik, who commited suicide on 21st of december (winter solstice) in 1982 by hanging, and in my personal opinion it was a ritual suicide, cause he choose exact date to do it, and I think that 21st of decembar is not a just another day. And in 2012 when whole world was in mania-paranoia about END OF TIME on 21st of decembar, I wrote about Hostnik a lot - cause it was exactly 30 years after his suicide. Was it just a coinicidence? I think not, but that's just my opinion. Of course, now they all said (Laibach people) that Hostnik was very sick, mentaly ill, depressed, but I think that's not the main reason. Maybe I'm wrong but we'll see.

    For all those who wants to know more about Hostnik and his death a made this blogpost on 21st of december 2012 so you can check it out:

    http://abraxas365dokumentarci.blogspot.com/2012/12/tomaz-hostnik-1961-1982-30-years-after.html

    These are not my texts, I borowed it from my friend from Britain, but if you're really interested in a few theories why Hostnik really commited suicide I can send you a link with my text where I explained it in Serbian so you can understand it. So just ask.

    So, in my opinion, Menedez13 used LAIBACH as a LIGHT MOTIVE for his story about how all totalitarian ideas are coming back very dangerously in this time of crisis. Of course, I hope that Menedez13 will be back here as soon as posible so he can explain to us what is the movie really about, and as I said before, maybe I'm wrong, but I'm not so sure, cause I watched all 6 docs about Laibach as a band and THIS IS NOT A DOC ABOUT LAIBACH but more about LJUBLJANA AS A CITY and all those totalitarian ideologies that fucked up Yugoslavia, that bring dictators such as Milosevic, Pavelic, TITO, Nedic, Tudjman, King Alexandar and so on...BUT LET'S SEE FIRST WHAT AUTHOR HIMSELF HAS TO SAY ABOUT THIS TOPIC.

    So, please don't get me wrong, I LOVE LAIBACH as a BAND, I have everything that they ever recorded, I'm fanatical about their music and performances, and it's actually my favorite band since 80's, but in my opinion Mendez13 used it just as metaphore for TOTALITARISM AND OPRESSION against FREE-THINKERS in ex-Yugoslavia, cause LAIBACH was the first really dangerous band who came out of a closet with their provocative work, and they had a lots of problems with police in their start. Especially after that legendary concert in Zagreb in 1982 which was held just about a month before Tomaž Hostnik left us. As we all know, Tomaž was wearing provocative nazi-like uniform on stage, and some people in the crowed were not prepared for such an extrem provocation after TITO's death in 1980, so they throw a bottle of beer and hit him in a chin. There was a blood on his face but Hostnik didn't care, he doesn't even give fuck about it, and he finished that concert like nothing happened. That's just one of many reasons WHY WE ALL RESPECT HOSTNIK SO MUCH - if you agree?

    Veliki pozdrav iz Beograda,

    Bojan Pandža

    Hello, soory for late response, usually on my previous films ( you can check them on my you tube channel) when i put them on forums, there was not usually positive replies, cause
    we had some kinf of avangarde or black humour, but not typical, BUT this it is very different wit this film , it looks like i hit the point or the theme that brought interest for many people, and reactions after Ljubljana premiere were really great if i compare it wit my other films. About this film if you will like to write something about on your blog would be great, well however
    i was in Belgrade last year wit this film in club SKC, but something happened that we didnt play the film, i also have other films with political themes, you should
    chech this WE ARE HOLLYWOOD, it is about actors who are actually politicians and politicians who were actors before, like California republican right wing Arnold
    Schwarznegger who ironicly played fighters for people freedom, and now he is this politician who support death penalty. Enough about that check the trailer.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQxB5AQXOuI

    Well about this film, i will put it on youtube, when it will cross the film festivals, no matter the fact that film festivals are one big minus for us film creators
    , musicians are musch better treated, dont know why. My next film projects are We are Marburg/Maribor and Pažnja svima! Dolazi Zagabria, it would be about
    twoo brothers one punk and other right wing footbal fan for Dinamo, the first one prefer Antifascist Partisans( not Communists) the other one right wing
    fascists Ustashe so it is a twisted story. Sorry i talk enough about my projects, i saw your blog, and i think it was great, specially about Manson case, i wanted
    to make some film project about him as well( i m specially interested about his book on his own words of his crimes),
    To everyone who asked, this film IS a bit about Laibach -the band also but this in second plan it contain some inside information and facts that only we in Slovenia
    know, but in first plan it is about city Ljubljana and citizens, their political directions and European ethnic conflits. If everyone is interested to see the complete
    version of the film which is 30 minutes contact me on facebook, you will also see my previos film WE ARE HOLLYWOOD, find me on name DIEGO MENENDES
    You mentioned to write something on your blog about this project, well this would be great, or you can ask me whatever you want
    Inače razumijem i pričam vrlo dobro i Srpski pa i Hrvatski, pošto imam predaka iz tih krajeva ali na Engleskom jedino svi razumijemo
    pozdrav
    Diego Menendes
