Alright I didn't really know where to put this specifically, so if this is in the wrong spot please feel free to move it. I'm just curious about what your stances are on workers' unions. I was at work today (Trader Joes, just to shed some light) and my boss man was talking to us about the same old shit, then he gets on the topic of unions and how they basically helped bring about this economic crisis. Is there ANY truth to this at all or is he just blowing smoke out his ass? I've always come to assume that unions do more good than harm, since they typically defend workers in court cases and what not...

Your boss sounds like the typical business-douche that would like to think that 'the socialists' are to blame for all of the US's capitalist problems, there are unions that are good (horizontal, worker controlled)and unions that are tools of the capitalist system(hierarchical, for profit) the vast majority of unions are descended from proletarian sacrifices that were made in the late 1800's and early 1900's but somewhere along the way when vast treasures of worker produced savings in the form of pensions started to accumulate...greed and corruption naturally set in. It's kind of funny that Trader Joe's is known as a 'liberal' oriented business but it has people like him spreading what is basically right wing propaganda towards its workers...take it with a grain of salt.

Well compared to Shaws, Trader Joes is the lesser of two evils. However the majority of my coworkers are still morons, specifically that one girl who works at TJ's and Starbucks. I want to tell her to shut up every time she opens her mouth. It's funny too cuz one coworker was basically egging him on, even though he clearly voted for Obama. He was like "Yeah there was this one dude who worked at Stop and Shop and made like $25/hour just for bagging groceries".....Shouldn't you be happy for that man? He's making more than you, so clearly you're jealous. God damn i hate retail.

What percentage of the labor force actually belongs to a union in the mofo USA? If they could bring down the economy that would be awesome. Found some stats in 2010 it was 11.4% -source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Labor_unio ... ted_States

The mofo economy in the USA is functioning as planned, the USA "middle class" is no longer needed and they are getting rid of it. Remember they only care about the bottom line... they don't give a fuck about human beings that are not them! fuck em!

    HAHA

you should check out the ANARCHIST FAQ. Section C: What are the myths of capitalist economics?

heres the link to the FREE anarchist faq: http://theanarchistlibrary.org/topics/an-anarchist-faq

you will learn quite a bit on the working of the mofo system, from an Anarchist point of view...

mosts peoples understanding of capitalism is like a 6 grade level, and even a collage course "Economics 101" are pretty lame to, they don't tell you the real working of this mofo, they don't give you the good, the bad and the ugly of capitalism, especially the needed violence that is needed to create it, maintain it, and expand it... :D
