Re: States succeding As a reactionary measure to the Obama presidential victory I can't help but feel racism is playing a major role in these developments, as well as being completely convinced that the State will never let this happen without bloodshed, are you prepared to pick up a weapon to replace one state with another? And remember that the majority of people, not all but definitely a majority, that are behind this secession movement lean hard right and in most likelihood will be much more fascistic anti-human rights than what you are considering...

I agree that this new secessionist wave among the right wingers is racially rooted. A lot of folks just can't stand the thought having a black president. Also it's kind of hysterical to see how serious the racist capitalist right wingers think their petitions are. Even if they get enough signatures, all that will happen is they'll probably get their name on a watch list. People always place so much faith in petitions...And they're definitely still the enemy regardless of how much they suddenly aren't proud to be American anymore. If by some crazy twist of fate they find themselves in a shooting war with the US military, I'll sit on the sidelines with a 40 and watch them kill each other.

50 States Secede From US Your Thoughts? http://rt.com/usa/news/petition-white-house-secede-688/ I think the states seceding from the United States to be governed by their own set of laws and rules could be a great step towards independence and away from the heavy burden of a one world government (ew!) It's easier to change a small area into "Heaven on Earth" than the whole country. But it all depends on the people and how they want to act or not act. It seems that there was a counter-petition raised against the idea of the 50 states being independent from the US but the people's answer had no real point but instead was a childish response stating that, all the people who signed the petition to separate the 50 states from the US should be deported. I am however one of those people that value, and prefer, living in smaller communities, such being more beneficial that crowded cities which only produce more environmental problems, emotional garbage, unhealthy conditions, dirty morals, greed, impatience, etc. than does smaller communities. I don't necessarily believe we need to separate ourselves from each other but focus more on our needs as a people than the financial needs of our government. Which has clearly shown that it is incapable of providing for even the basic needs of all the people, but instead providing specifically to the needs of itself. I don't care if the prejudice states are the main ones involved, Romney/End of the world/Quick let's get independence from US, but those Romney lovers are onto it! They can love Romney all they want in their own states! Leaving other states to love what they want! Anyone following? Now we don't al have to agree on the same thing. Everyone's needs and wants can be addressed accordingly. Everyone's happy, and we don't need Big Brothers approval. I think there's a lot of good that can come from this. So many laws that have to be "approved" from the big chair, well now it can be at a state level. More Unity in the Community! Not everyone in the US wants the same thing. The only way i see a government giving its power up is if their is a threat to lives of the the family and members of the governing class. Whatever. This is going to go nowhere. As much as I hate our government, I agree that this is fueled by racial ideas. Our president is black. People need to get over it. I've heard of a town somewhere here in the US that has a population of 1. Seriously. Why don't all of us Anarchist and those that share our ideas go there and start our own city/town with our own rules/laws. It's a contradiction to being an Anarchist I know, but you should understand what I am saying. I wish I could remember where the town I talk about is.

The town I speak of has a lady who lives there. It was her and her husband but he died and now she is the only one left. She wants people to move there so that it will be easier to keep up with. There's a library, town hall, restaurants and other building we could turn into working businesses or whatever we want them to be. I still think it would be an awesome idea.
