Dude, do you know someone there in somalia? Are you an adventurer or are you naive? Maybe a naive adventurer.
Do you have any idea what can and probably will happen to you if you just go there by yourself? People will see you as an irresistable opportunity. Not to mention that In a country where you can buy an ak47 for about $15 on the black market almost everybody will be armed. So, come to think of it, even with a trusted guide, his life would be in danger too.
So let me take back what I said about knowing someone. The only way I would go there would be with an organisation.

Yup i have read like half of the FAQ, im some where in the middle of Section C - What are the myths of capitalist economics? i think i get an APN patch when im done with it HAHA , but i have read many anarchists writers and history books over the course of my life, but this site suggested it and well its cleared quite a bit for me and helped me critically think about quite a bit relating to the circle A

I think grippster is thinking "No-Government" = anarchy or anarchism, i was suggesting that with that definition of anarchism, well new jersey fits thats description right now... maybe it would be a shorter distance for him to travel for his definition of anarchy

I am planning to go there, so i've been studying and understanding what is going on there, and fuck its interesting for anarchist i think, so i stated translating and posting here cuz i was not fining that info anywhere in english, so i started to share all that info, instead of writing some book later or something on AK Press haha

Haha I remember hearing about a radio show in Somalia that hosted a contest for young boys, first prize was a computer, next five runner ups got an ak47 each.

How is it not in a declining state? It is a militarized society, the poverty rates are well over 70%(about 40% live in extreme poverty), there are constantly armed conflicts for political power and Somalia is classified as hipc/ldc/lpicus(highly indebted poor country, least developed country and low income country under stress), theres gender inequality, hiv/aids. I could go on. Yes, you can go sit down in bar and have a beer in Mogadishu, but you`d be one of the lucky few that can afford it.

HAHA I’m thinking if Mit Romey wins the presidential election in the coming days in the USA, maybe he will cut FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) wich will probably help finance the rebuilding and help peeps out there.
