Hi - new to the forum and decided to do the hello thing. Found your site after taking advantage of a subhumans post on kat. Was looking for citizen fish but decided to dig a bit further and you post was not only still in tact, but very thorough and of decent quality. I owned a couple of those albums when they were released (scarey) Anyway - hello all, I have been into the punk scene for about 25 years now, and am only now really appreciating the lyrics. (yeah, HR has some interesting shit but singing about getting high, killing vampires and "sacred love" from jail only go so far) Stizza is a bit too conspirituos, and fat Mike is too happy to considered Zinn depressing, And that is where I am, and I am kinda stuck looking for the next lesson to come along. It's late, going to bed.
Hello! I've got the new Citizen Fish EP to put up. It's pretty good, I'll think you'll like. I assume your HR killing vampires comment was based on FVK(?) I'm pretty sure Vampire in this sense is a less than subtle metaphor: "The bourgeoisie had better watch out for me. All throughout this so called nation, we don't want your filthy money, we don't need your innocent bloodshed. We just wanna end your world." Although, I'll drop in a request for any recommendation of new bands, on the back of you looking something fresh. Any that have cropped up in the last two years or so that are worth checking out?
