Re: Pussy Riot wears one of our t-shirts !

So what's your theory ? The CIA paid russian anarchists to sing a song in a chruch ? Nobody would have expected the repression against Pussy Riot, nor the international support. Anyway, why would have they did that ? Polls proves that the vast majority of russians doesn't support Pussy Riot and take the side of the government. So wtf is supposed to be the advantage ? A reason to declare war on russia to save the poor anarchists ? Seriously...
Or maybe the CIA paid medias in 50+ different countries to write articles on Pussy Riot ?

Seriously, let's drop the conspiracy theories if we want to have a serious debate

    A POSSIBILITY:

Whenever you see the MEDIA Focus on something controversial

and international its to create divide and conquer Controversy,

it a diversionary Tactic sci-op...Divert are attention from what?

Keep us occupied by petty arguments, while they get away with

Global Domination..Dont notice the banker looting the world and

starting world war 3...watch out with expending to much energy

    into petty diversionaries.

    ........

They Could be real and thats just were they are in their evolution
Still taking down the church, But if they were really real the media
would ignore them so the media has an agenda, knowing Or unknowing
plants meant to divert and smear anarchism and anarchist as just "hooligans"
which gives them an excuse to label and round up any body with
anti authoritarian tendencies. Its really a multi useful tool for the gov,
    The media system to use.

Know how they know how to re direct people, manipulate the mind of the masses,
master psychoanalysis, Know their tactics, See their Tactics and Dont
    feed Their tactics.

    And

    NEVER divert.

And just in case youv never seen.

You still think they are poor? Ok, and if anyone missed that : "Boris Efimovich Nemtsov is a Russian politician who was Deputy Prime Minister of Russia from 1997 to 1998. He was a co-founder of the Russian political party Union of Rightist Forces and is an outspoken critic of Vladimir Putin"

I always though anarcho femanists were not big supporters of marriage, but whatever.

"Alexei Anatolievich Navalny is a Russian lawyer, politician, and political and financial activist. Since 2009, he has gained prominence within Russia, and notably within the Russian media, as a critic"

"Garry Kimovich Kasparov is a Russian chess grandmaster, a former World Chess Champion, writer and political activist, considered by many to be the greatest chess player of all time."

That's your t-shirt babe with major anarchist, Alexei Navalny.

Yeah, she cut her hair and plucked her eye brows for the Western press. So what all these people all got in common, then (apart from being major anarchists)? Yeah, they aint keen on Putin. The Pussy Riot stunt was what, a month before the election? You don't need a brain to work this one out.

Re: Pussy Riot wears one of our t-shirts !

Seriously who cares... Who cares if they met some politicians during a protest... It doesn't change anything..

So we shouldn't support anarchists victims of state repression just because they did trips to canada and were pictured with a politician during a protest of which we don't even know the circumstances ?

This whole debate is ridiculous and pointless.

Even if they were not "real anarchists" they're still victims of the state repression and the became a symbol of resistance. I'd support them even if they were not anarchists. Especially if it can help to support other anarchists from Toronto and Quebec.

Hey btw, the "i give to us" solidarity fund we are supporting with the sales is not only helping anarchists. They're helping everyone needing legal defense after being arrested during the student protests here. And yes it even include some people who were pictured with politicians, a lot of people who vote for political parties, and a lot of them who aren't even anarchists. And here in Quebec all anarchists support this solidarity fund. A few days ago there was a benefit show for them where some of the most known anarcho-punk bands played for them.

And you don't need a brain to figure that Putin cheated all recent elections, and even when he "lost" he still controlled everything from the background. Russia is not a democracy, it's not like the people's vote did matter.

    Your theory doesn't make sense:

    - Anarchists wouldn't accept to collaborate with the CIA
    - The CIA couldn't expect the major "free pussy riot" movement after their action
    - If it was a conspiracy against Putin, why didn't Putin just give a weaker sentence to Pussy Riot and therefore gain election points ?
    - Polls proves that the vast majority of russians DOESN'T support Pussy Riot, so what would be the point ?
    - Pussy Riot are talking about a revolution in the article you linked to. They don't want just a regime change through elections.

Re: Pussy Riot wears one of our t-shirts !

I disagree with the thing about anarcho feminist being against marriage, that is the concept of it on a personal level - ie 2 people as equals. The institutionalisation of it, inequalities, ownership implications, and mistreatment are what is unacceptable. There are a lot of different views on it, and it's wrong to generalize. A lot of feminists thoughts are very anti-men, and cause further divide and resentment. Plus, if she does have that view, she may use her 'marriage' as a means to an end, and see it as a way of taking the piss out of 'marriage', gaining canadian status for example.

She alikened her treatment to what Stalin did...

The pussy riot name is a bit of a sham. For example the 'band name' (can they even play those very nice unplugged guitars?....), apparently so named as a protest against the sexual objectification of women, and yet one of them has recently agreed to do a naked photo shoot for a magazine.

Animal rights? One of them is vegan (ha, had PETA demanding she was given proper food in prison), but nadezda tolokonnikova ain't and it's pretty insulting to the animal rights movement the things she has been involved with.

Anarchist? Her and her husband past activities included taking videos of 'anarchist friends' then exposing them, grassing up 'friends' to the cops, stealing from their friends, continued to do shit under the voina name to get the rest of the group into trouble. (That includes the video, which exposed some activists, and the kissing coppers video). This is from voina:-

So Verzilov (Nadezda husband) views imprisonment as a perfect means of gaining publicity to gain credibility, cept he prefers other people - even his wife, to go to prison than himself for his beliefs. I wonder if it was him that tipped the coppers off.

A political agenda to discredit Putin and get Verzilov buddy Boris into power. Police informants. Western interest being an opportunist thing, doubt the scale of that was planned.

Asides from everything else, I aint supporting police informants, fuck that.

A lot of people are supporting pussy riot for the wrong reasons such as Maddona. They are opportunists. Pussy Riot are not CIA backed. I don't believe the conspiracy nuts.

I was thinking a good marketing idea for Pussy Riot until they get out or to take their look n use the publicity they have generated and use it for you local anarchist projects would be to…

Put together a band that has a set of anarcha feminist or anarchist songs and they should take the pussy riot look and well make flyers and start shows and call yourself Pussy Riot – and dare them to sue you!

HA and I was thinking there would be maybe 2 dozen or so of these bands popping out all over the world.

You can put people in jail but the ideas you will never stop…

Things that make you go MMMM…

A friend of mine came up with an idea for a band. All musicians would be masked and all the music and lyrics would be freely available and then doppelgänger bands could pop up everywhere and they could contribute to the projects song collection. It would be an international band project, free for all.

Last thing I heard, Crass members got their grubby mits on the idea and are charging an 'initiation and preparation fee' to join the project.

On the matter at hand, I believe Pussy Riot are sincere despite what other flaws that we may wish to argue about. I don't think you'll find the slightest bit of evidence for collusion with pro-Western/US groups in encouraging with anti-Putin protest. I just think Western opportunists are manipulating the situation for their advantage. That appears logical. Especially when you consider their previous subversive activity - again, how worthwhile this activity was is another question but I believe it to be sincere.

Do they have a name for the project they are pushing? And do you get to take a picture next to these ex-crass members? To put on your Facebook?
