Hey guys, my name is Andrew and I'm new to this forum. I was raised in South Florida (west palm area) and am currently waiting to move back to Gainesville, Fl. I have been in the scene for about 10 years now and have gone through a lot of "phases" in my musical tastes. From 80s HC, to grindcore, to death metal, to black metal, to powerviolence, back to punk, back to black metal, sludge/doom metal, to crust, and anarcho; i have seen, but mostly heard, a lot. I dont really like to label myself as an "anarcho punk" but i do love it. i really dont find it necessary to dress in more than a band shirt and jeans. you can say that i have found my place in the scene as a lover of all forms of extreme or underground music. i am 22 and i think drinking whiskey is better than talking politics haha. but seriously i am not a very political person and, if forced to, would definitely label myself as a nihilist rather than an anarchist. i dont want to be seen as apathetic in my views but i certainly dont see any other way to live. the more time i spend on this planet the more i feel nihilism is the way to go. that's pretty much all i have to say on that matter. i am a die hard atheist and will take up any opportunity to say something blasphemous. i can be an idiot sometimes. I love to write short stories, hang out with friends, watch movies, drink, smoke, have a good time, go to shows, skate, draw, and play guitar. lately, i have been getting into card tricks and practicing sleight of hand. i also like to spray paint, steal beer and glue, and carshop when im feeling rebellious. i grew up kind of repressed by my catholic family and feel that it has given me a dull personality at times. so to make up for my insecurities, i lash out in illegal or violent ways. that is just who i am and i couldnt change if i tried. Some of my favorite bands are: reagan youth flux of pink indians rudimentary peni pillsbury hardcore man is the bastard/bastard noise burzum strid jobbbykrust phobia SQRM the shitlickers blood freak infest neaderthal darkthrone vomit punx some of my favorite movies are: eraserhead gummo man bites dog american psycho there will be blood the stoned age trash humpers inland empire my son, my son, what have ye done bad lieutenant fight club trainspotting harold and maude fear and loathing in las vegas lock, stock, and two smoking barrels the bourne trilogy throughout the years, i have skated toy machine, black label, and i have a DGK now i play a dean guitar with a shitty practice amp (just started playing) thats about it as far as intros go, thanks for reading.
