The Black Nova wins this thread! :lmao:

    but seriously...

" learn how to work with others."

This is what I would say to red anarchists that for some strange reason feel the need to lash out against green anarchists. We are both pretty much doing totally different work. You guys are straight log jamming the system at best and at worst creating movements... oh the dreaded movement. We're usually either critiquing, rewilding or permaculturing and some of us are taking direct action as are some of you. Why not support each other? We need it all! Except movements and party lines. At worst for green anarchy you get either shoddy critique, ineffective action or confusing primitivism with ideology which it is NOT. Worst of all some of us green anarchists may be waiting for civ to just crumble, we got lifestylers that adopt green anarchy as an ideology to justify inaction... I mean we got the whole crimethinc milieu...dafuq is that shit? So can we ease up on infighting with each other??? A\ I mean, we got Derrick Jensen just look at all the straight liberal bullshit he's been pulling lately.

I blame the salmon, why couldn't they have told him the correct answer to begin with?

thats one thing i like about the internetz: it keeps useless, stupid fights SILENT. so, when do all of you start to see that we all want actually something similar: a free society. not?
so, let*s get there together and when we are there, we have the freedom to live life as we all want...
one goes farming, the other wants to produce machine components, the other wants to install a communication network to connect all the smaller communities fast, and so on...

facebook is shit, but using it you can reach the masses by now, cause the mass uses it, too. use the strength of your enemy against him...
using the internet for means of communication and shareing knowledge, goods and as an organizing platform is not that wrong. or how will you get enough people together to actually DO something, talking with your friends in your city/village/farm?

use it, but don`t let it use you.

theres not only one single way to a better, free society, there are many. any many ways must be walked until all are free. but if the aim is the same, why fight against each other? for using another road? come on...

I don't think it's just anarcho youth who face the struggle against digital corruption, and calling it 'corruption' creates a bias towards negative views on something that can be a very useful tool. All youth face the same struggle, and those who chose to fall to the negative side, which I believe is a dependance on the system. Using the system for our benefit (meetings, finding shows and dives and houses), should not be considered a 'corruption' or a 'corrupt' act.

There are plenty of anarchist enclaves using the internet (FreeGeek in Vancouver is one example)

The internet has become a microcosm of the world. It takes tidbits of society - its trends and biases - and presents them in a neat little package for our viewing pleasure (or displeasure). The convenience of the internet, and the disconnect from personal human interaction, is the 'corruption' and not the tool itself.
