I absolutely love all Le Guin that I have read. Read all of Earthsea and The Telling. I've really got to find copies of The Word For World Is Forest & Always Coming Home.

    What Are You Reading?

I'm currently reading Geography of Freedom: The Odyssey of Elisee Reclus by Marie Fleming, which I got from AK Press out of Oakland, California. Anyone else want to share what they're currently reading? Feel free to share even if you're reading an ebook.

Just started reading "From Dictatorship to Democracy" by Gene Sharp. Apparently it inspired the Arab Spring

cliche or not, I always make sure I own a copy of Catcher in the Rye.

LAtely it's been a lot of comics, mostly old stuff like First Comics and old Warren horror mags like CREEPY. Of First I recommend Badger, Grimjack, and the Classics Illustrated version of Upton Sinclair's The Jungle.

I'd say the last really good paper book I read was Liminal States by Zack Parsons (the last funny guy on Somethingawful). Turns out he can write a mean novel.

But yeah, usually CDisplay is open 24/7 somehwere on my desktop :p

Currently reading Vonnegut - Hocus Pocus. I know he's no anarchist but he's definitely my favourite fiction writer. This book's pretty damning of the Vietnam war as well as a general bashing of the rich and the US elite. Religion doesn't fair too well either. Really enjoying it.

If you haven't read Lathe of Heaven, I'd recommend that as well. Awesome story about a guy that can change reality with his dreams.

I`m reading pirates of the caribbean: axis of hope by Tariq Ali right now, I was on the verge of falling asleep a few times, but I really like reading his interviews.
I also started the bell jar again but its really depressing.

Philip K. Dick wrote some interesting, funny and quite compelling books. I've only read 2 of his books "A Scanner Darkly" and "Eye in the Sky". Apparently he used to write all of his books while high on speed. Actually I'm not much of a bookworm but if I like an author's style or it gets recommended to me then I'll give it a shot.

Yes, he's not my favourite actor either but Woody Harrelson also plays in it. Anyway it's played with real actors and then cartoonified. Shit, there was another movie like that, also with W.H. which was fucking good but I can't remember the name now. It was about these guys that had this fucked-up circus with this delapidated elephant and old trapeze artists and there were drugs involved and so on.
I'll let you know when it comes to me, or maybe someone else will recognize it?

I did a search for it. It's called FREE WILLIE. It's fucking funny, like the one guy talks about how he's got this scam going, where he steals peoples' dogs and then waits for the reward flyers to be put up hahaha.

ok let me turn anyone who is interested on to some books that are actually good.

Celine - Journey to the End of the Night
    Celine - Death on Credit

    Bukowski - Ham on Rye
    Bukowski - Women

Kafka - Short Stories ... Metamorphosis is best known, but I like Hunger Artist the best; also recommend A Country Doctor collection and Investigations of a Dog.

    Gogol - Dead Souls

    Richard Wright - Native Son

Dostoevsky - Brother's Karamazov; Crime and Punishment, The Adolescent, Demons, The Idiot, Memoirs from the House of the Dead, Notes from Underground

Yes, I would say read all of these books, or at least look into reading to find out more about them.
