I play banjo in The Rust Belt Ramblers... we are a roots band, with punk energy and radical politics.

Yup. I supply the vocals alongside two of my best friends. It's a nice fusion of hardcore punk and redneck metal. The lyrics are political, favoring sarcasm over self-righteousness. I live in Philly now, but we still managed to do a mini-tour last summer. All our music is free on our website (we don't do myspace): http://tabris.ath.cx/marinecorpse/

i have been playing drums for Iskra for about a year now. like Anarchist Blackened Crust/Black Metal.

i play drums for Leper. started in 03 i think. it's like epic blackened crust with ska. like leftover crack meets fall of efrafa meets uhhhh.... ummm... say maybe..... ummm.... shit i dunno. some hardcore band

i play guitar for Mutiny (2007). its like crustcore/grindcore/power violence type stuff like disrupt or mass grave or magrudergrind.

    Lets see currently I:

    - Play Guitar and Do Vocals For M.A.D. (Anarcho-Crust Metal Shit)
    - Guitar And Vocals in Moral Degradation (Sludgy Grindcore, new shit has more of a black metal sound)
    - Drums and Vocals in Mandalore (Two piece Sludge Metal band, total Noothgrush Grief and Dystopia worship)
    - Drums In Lungcollapse (Raw Stoner Crust)

all i do is make noise if anyone from the long island/nyc area on this site wants to jam message me ill play any instrument
(and by any instrument I mean guitar bass drums or vocals \m/ )

Noiseterrorist, do you have anything like demos for your bands, I'm interested in hearing some. If it's on cassette or cd, I'd love a copy.

M.A.D.s first 4 releases are on this site (although i only play on the most recent one) and were currently recording another release that ill put up once its completed

Moral Degradation has one ep up here under non-anarcho releases when we record newer shit ill put it up.

Mandalore only has one sng recorded ,poor quality with no vocals
    ( http://www.myspace.com/mandalore420 )

and lungcollapse has two equally poor quality recordings
    ( http://www.myspace.com/completelungcollapse ).

With the exception of M.A.D. the rest of my bands havent been getting too much practice but once we get our shit together and record il post more albums

Since there are a lot of people in bands here, and I assume a lot of solo musicians, and probably spoken word artists , would anyone be interested in possibly contributing a song or two a month, if convenient, for a virtual compilation album project I've been brainstorming? More or less just a fun way to get bands from members here to work on songs and post a monthly compilation with some sort of theme? I'm still brainstorming, so ideas are welcome, first I'd just like to see how much, if any, interest there is. Thanks.

I'd like to contribute a song. I'm buying a tape recorder int he future for a new project I'm doing solo. It's a ambient/atmospheric drone band called Bile, just me and a bass.

I just recently bought a cassette 4 track recorder.... i love it. But to everyone else, all you need is any thing that can record, I'm not hoping for professionalism or anything :) (i mean how punk rock is professionalism :) Extinction I will PM you sometime soon with some ideas and we can brainstorm.
