Hi, my name's Joshua Rose, I'm 19 years old and I hate liberals!

I used to post on here not exactly at the very beginning but pretty early on as CrustyElmo666. I'm making my return now because... well, why not? This is a pretty fucking solid and now relatively well established forum. I was also recently pretty much raged off of the PIX forum by those good ol' boys there and I thought I'd try my luck back here.

So yeah, I like quite a wide variety of music, pop punk, black metal, crust and good hip-hop being probably my faves but really it spans the genres, from sludge to folk to grind to post rock and really whatever else... but not dubstep, fuck dubstep. I'm really looking forward to the new Panopticon - Kentucky so that might give you a little of what I like.

I don't play any instruments right now although I have a bass which I've picked up before. My friend Vinny was telling me the other day that I should pick it up again so we could get something going with his friend Julian Frank who plays drums. Sounds like a pretty good idea to me. What I would want to play would be some raw blackened punk comparable say to Raspberry Bulbs, drawing influence from both raw black metal and pop punk and ya know crust of course. So I figure just getting functional and getting going would be the best way to go about doing that. Maybe, we'll see. Anyway, another thing I really do intend on doing at some point in the future is getting some hardcore anarcho hip-hop together but before I start writing again I really want to learn how to produce. My stuff is gonna be pretty sample heavy, I'll probably sample alot of crust and unorthodox stuff and just whatever the fuck I feel like.

I also hold pretty solid anti-civ views. I know that that's not taken to fondly here, but I'm sure we have a decent deal of common ground at least and I ain't here to argue or to spam ya, so it should be all good. Ya know what? I think I actually have a quote for you, let me see:

"I am with you in destroying the tyranny of existing society but when you have done this and begun to build anew, then I will oppose and go beyond you."

    Renzo Novatore, Italian individualist anarchist, May 12, 1890 - November 29, 1922

And here's an other one that I am going to get tattooed onto the underside of my left fore arm along with his birth and death dates, The shortest, most potent stanza/paragraph/chapter from "Towards The Creative Nothing":

"Fascism is an obstacle much too ephemeral and impotent to hinder the course of human thought that bursts beyond every dam and overflows beyond every boundary, stirring action on its way.
Fascism is impotent because it is brute force. It is matter without spirit; it is night without dawn. Fascism is the other face of socialism. Both of them are bodies without minds."

Aight, cheers and keep them guns up and them blunts lit!

Thank you very much my good sir!

One thing I like about this board is that it has good moderators.
    Is Veg Barb still around?

Uhm hasn't been around in months...isn't Sebastopol close to La Honda and Potrero and Santa Cruz? I used to live in the Redwoods up in La Honda once upon a time....

umm I don't know about the first two but it is a good deal north of Santa Cruz, completely the other side of the bay. In Sonoma county, in between Santa Rosa and Bodega bay/Sonoma coast.

Shame about Veg Barb, he seemed like a good guy.
