Well, "hello" to you too. There's actually a couple of extant threads on the Casualties if you'd like to search them up. We mostly don't like them either, so you are kinda preaching to the converted right here.

I can't hate them. They used to be my favourite band as a high-school student. They are a pretty harmless band in the end. Obviously they are posers and business-oriented.
I saw them in Paris 5 years ago and I got to interview the guitar player. He is actually a very decent bloke. He didn't show off at all, was very friendly and answered all my questions about what he thought of the Bush administration (that would have been in 2006 and at the time the Casualties did an album with some relatively sound lyrics). I had a Crucifix shirt and he confessed that he loved many political bands (which doesn't exactly shows in their early records I must say!).

The only "Up the punx" song that matters in the end is Fleas and Lice's anyway.

I mean. Yeah. They are awful and very "image" obsessed. But their music is catchy and brain dead. Which is fun at times. Also their bass player Rick and their drummer Meggers know how to compliment a other perfectly.

Music is music my friend and i completely agree with you there. I also agree with the image based I like music to prove points not to be love songs and about stupid shit thats more of a bowling for soup than the casualties the casualties actually sound well not so pop bullshit

That's a pretty fucking soulless thing to say. What, are love songs not tough enough for you? Quit posing.

I think what they're saying is they don't like their songs to soulless and empty of meaning - like a lot of mainstream love songs. I mean, I'm sure Bieber is always singing songs about his 'baby' or some shit. I don't hate a lot of love songs but I love a lot of hate songs. I have music in my heart but my lyrics are mostly of political passions and not personal ones.

"I love a lot of hate songs."

All punk songs are love songs. It's just a matter of perspective. Take a song like "punk rock love" by casualties. Yes that is, whether being bitter or not. Clearly a love song. But then apply the same concept to any Crass, or Conflict song (to name a few). None of their songs are written without love. Love of animals, and a passion to see them free. A lust for freedom from society so powerful, that no matter how many ugly words they throw in. It cannot be disguised.

All political songs, no matter how vile. Is still a deeply passionate love song.

All people feel this same love and hate in equal measures.
Some people just feel it about things we experience in day to day life.
And some people feel it about situations that largely have nothing to do with them.

    TL;DR
    Everyone has the feelings.
They just express them in different ways.
