So what? That doesn't change what was done in the past, they probably finally figured out (like the Exploited and countless others) that they would be mostly rejected for their stance...as far as I'm concerned I will believe my anarchist and anti-fa brethren long before giving any credence to anyone else.

Last years (5.th/6th.November 2010) "allied invasion" concerts of condemned84 together with the 4skins in germoney happened to be in the discotheque "N8" in duisburg, a venue notorious for gigs of bands like VARG, Taake, Fimbulvet und Indecent Exposure.
N8-owner Volker Uhlmannsiek proved to be quite immune against protests from anti-racist groups and I wonder, what the beat would say about dancing on every fucking greyzone wedding avaliable :ecouteurs: .

CONDEMNED 84 have a large fascist following in the UK. The bands themselves are bitterly hostile to anything 'leftie' or 'commie'. As they have stated in many interviews 'they hate reds'

They are uber patriotic. SHARP skins have been hospitalised at their gigs. Avoid!!!

I think Vicious Rumours are definitely British. They are pretty shit to start with to be honest.

As ungovernable said, there are many dodgy (or worse) oi bands in France and especially in Paris I believe.

Yeah I was in my mind confusing Vicious Rumors with Evil Conduct from France for some reason. I have heard some dodgy shady ass shit about E.C.
As for V.R. never got into them.

Well where ever they are from they are not my cup of tea when it comes to Oi!, the Oi I like is rather left leaning & explictly S.H.A.R.P.. But of course you knew that already....

A while back I conversed with Oiaintdead thru PM. He said that his buddy Kev(the singer for Comdemned) & Gary Hodges(from the 4-Skins) are not Nazis or Fencewalkers, but that people always think that. That they are about the music & not Politics. I can respect an apolitical stance from Skins as I have known many Skins who were apolitical, & they were still my buddies. My fear would just be possibly that some might use the apolitical thing as an excuse to sit on the "Fence" so to say. Oiaintdead seemed like a str8 up guy, he did not sound like he was full of shit. He did not strike me as dodgy at all. Hell he even added me as a friend on here for crying out loud!
But I think Roddy Moreno from The Oppressed might have a very different view of Condemned & The New 4-skins and think that they are very dodgy.
My problem with some OI bands that are not RAC(RAC is NOT OI it is racist bullshit) Bonehead bands or Oi bands that might be considered "Dodgy" or "Fencesitters" is that many Oi bands have a national pride (Patriotic & Nationalistic) thing going on. & I as a stanch Anarchist I am very much AGAINST Nationalism of ANY sort.
THE ONLY FLAG I WAVE IS THE BLACK FLAG. THE PURE BLACK FLAG....
    :a: :skinhead:
Oh & the French Oi band I was confusing with Vicious Rumours & Evil Conduct was Evil Skins. Tho I also think Roddy from The Oppressed might also think of these bands(Vicious Rumours & Evil Conduct) as very very dodgy by the way.... From what I gather Evil Skins is a fascist band... Fuck em, they can go to Hell... DAMN, If only there was one...

I was mistaken on the Evil Conduct thing. I don't think Roddy of The Oppressed finds them as dodgy... I don't want to make false claims, & I ain't got nothing again Evil Conduct. I was just having a bad day is all. The same goes for The Last Resort, I ain't got nothing against them either, I was just having a bad day then too...
For any one interested in a good S.H.A.R.P. Oi! music site go to http://oioimusic.com

oiaintdead - Condemned 84 have openly stated they hate reds, I think one of the quotes was 'we'll play with anyone except reds'. I've read it on line at that uk punk and oi site. Now I'm not a fan of many commies but 'reds' sounds like a catch all for anyone that that believe is to the left of them. At the end of the day C84 can say what they want but waving a flag about and claiming to be apolitical like so many skinhead bands do is absolute nonsense. Like patriotism is politically neutral? I knew those skins that got beat up and they were just anti-racist skins, patriotic labour voting working class union men - this was way before sharp came out of nyc.

Well this is probably pretty off topic but patriotism /is/ technically politically neutral.

You can be a left-wing or right-wing patriot, it just means you believe in and support your country, which in all honestly is very fucking vague when it comes down to it.

If you mean it's not politically neutral in the sense that anarchism necessarily opposes patriotism then you might be onto something. Although traditionally anarchism is considered outside the spectrum of left-wing and right-wing politics. Left and right have to do necessarily with what government you want (hence the terms coming from which side of parliament people would sit on). Meaning that patriotism is neutral in terms of the left/right divide.

Anyways, totally off topic and practically useless but I like thinking about these things so fuck it.

    Cheers
