High, I am from the polluted peepee soaked heck hole of southern california. I came here to find some shows and realized that you need to register to view the forum. I don't go to many shows due to the fact that I am unemployed, a drunk, a stoner, a introvert and a misanthrope but would like to go to some and start a new band. The music is like is always changing and growing but it will always be punk, metal and rock and roll. Favorite bands and influences... Amebix, Mutiilation, Battalion of Saints, Ildjarn, Raw Hate, The Riffs, Paysage D'hiver, Extinction of Mankind, Venom and Motorhead. I am not very political, I guess I am more so apathetic but I have moments of charged hate against capitalism, the police, the government and this dreaded jobworld that i was born into. I get beat up alot for my loud drunk mouth... I think thats it. Ask me a question if you have any, I am pretty friendly.
Well I like black but thats a tone so I guess red even though that is an antagonizing color and yours?
My favorite color is blue, but that's not very punk rock. I asked my daughter the other day what Daddy's favorite color is, she said black, cause I wear it all the time, hahahhaa
can't ask my daughter, so i asked anothers mom's favorites - and they told me that black isn't a colour at all but the absence of visible light reaching the eye receptors... they are three & they find it interesting...
Yeah, Seitan is just wheat gluten, she loves the stuff, people in the grocery store get tripped out when she yells " get the stuff to make seitan peease, peease, peease"
Yeah, some people have a gluten intolerance, to my knowledge I do not. Nor does my daughter, but it can be hard to spot sometimes, so who knows.
colours are impressive to the girls and with their favorite black clad dad they did some optical experiments about the qualities of colours - quite a success, now rooting deep in their synaesthetic young minds. and as a penalty, Nike Mihailowna, you'll ask Vera about greens and oranges - and she'll keep you busy listening for the next couple of days... and by the way: our girls love seitan too, to them the taste is orange...
Yeah it sucks and it makes me feel pretty gross. I am working on cutting all flour out of my diet but it is pretty hard but when I have a piece of pizza or seitan I feel like my stomach is going to explode. Which sucks, I love pizza!
maybe this one will help you a bit, the responsible culprits are certain aminopeptid-chains instigating an auto-immune reaction in your digestive track: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gluten_sen ... sitivities http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coeliac_Disease some get it with their set of genes, some more develop it when they are babies and fed too soon with grain-containing supplementary diet, around 5% of the western population suffer from it. did it, comrade madame commissar sir - and i think about taping her statements about her view of ordinary book pages and found cock's feathers - guess she will never have need of any kind of drug: she's practically naturally high... psychedelic all around the clock! i am almost jealous!
If I remember correctly I used buckwheat flour alot for our vegan potlucks because a couple people at the potluck had celiac disease...so they didn't want any gluten. I know that buckwheat doesn't contain gluten, and that's it's not actually a form of wheat but I don't remember any special conversions for the buckwheat flour, I normally just used it, earth balance, and unsweetened almond milk when making things like "cheese" or in recipes that required baking. http://www.vegweb.com should definately have some gluten free crust recipes. Being vegan in Northeastern Tennessee can lead to feeling very very hungry at times.
we plant buckwheat on the farm for the bees and our gluten sensitives, we have three, two are vegetarians. before potatoes became popular in europe, buckweed was an important pseudo-cerealie, feeding people and animals alike after the osmans brought it over the bosporus. it's a bit cold-sensitive up in the mountains, but it's kinda undemanding and fast growing, bit of a problem is the need for cross-pollination - that's where the bees get busy. we never did anything to the flour and had everything from pan cakes, poffertjes up to those japanese soba-noodles - the only bad stuff of buckwheat is fagopyrin, the colouring agent of the husk - it's said to make human skin more sensitive to sunlight, but only flintstones-enthusiasts eat unpeeled buckwheat.
High Sali(e)! How are you? I am unemployed right now, it's nice sleeping in, skating, playing guitar, reading all day but I am applying for jobs too. :/ What is your job, can I get a job with you?
I've had Soba a couple of times, that is made with buckwheat. It was really good especially with broccoli and bean sprouts and I didn't feel like crap afterwards but most Soba noodles contain eggs which I avoid. Rice is a staple of my diet also corn and corn chips. YUM! Salsa, Pice De Gallo and Guacamole.
