Eeeey, I decided to stop lurking like a twat and actually get involved I'm a punk, and a nerd, and I just moved into Bristol from good ole Wiltshire. Wanna get involved in the punk scene and local Anarchist organisations, like the bookfair collective. I didn't know things were so big around here till the bookfair back in May, so yeah... I listen to a combo of anarcho and horror punk (silly fun diversion), and I loves me cider!! Blaah i suck at these things
Shit should probably talk about my politics a bit I'm a Syndicalist, though I used to be a Marxist in my misguided teen years. I ran out of excuses when I was 19 and not looked back. I came from a very lefty family, granddad was a member of the Communist party and mum was a hippy and a punk back in the 70s and early 80s. Growing up with a single parent, who was extremely ill, while being made homeless twice, in the 90s under Major and Blair showed me how callous and vile our so-called civilization is. Fuck the tories and fuck new labour too.
so welcome then in the safe heavens, but i strongly recommend some contemplation about the difference between "civilisation" and political/economical system - with your marxist past it shouldn't be that hard for you to get it?
