Well according to the grapevine the CDF was registered as a non-profit event and that was the chink in the iron clad armor they set up, it wasn't non-profit when they charged and aren't registered as a non profit org, so very simply the City of Los Angeles wasn't getting their cut of the pie in taxes....but that all could have been settled had everyone taken 30 minutes from the time the pigs got there to sign a roll call stating they donated their money....but once again getting punks to agree to doing anything is like wrangling feral cats.....
Ok so get this! All shows at the Riff Haus have been canceled because some fucking asshole called the firefighters on the venue because he wasn't allowed to drink booze or smoke his weed outside -___- sooo there goes another DIY venue!
Daniel texted me while it was happening...such utter nonsense. No more punk at the Riff Haus. also would like to rectify that according to Bones Booking (Daniel & Kyle) what I wrote above about the non-profit wasn't the case at all.
