Oi! Hey I'm a punk from MadTown (madera, CA) the most punkless town you've ever seen I've been looking for a place to express my more radical views. I'm strongly against abuse of authority, government, organized religion, communism (great concept if it weren't applied to humans), etc. I hope this community allows me to connect w/ like minded citizens of this hellhole we call earth.
Hey NumberLast welcome to APN, I lived in La Honda for a while when I was a teen and I think I remember having to drive through Madera a few times...anyways cheers
your anti communist sentiments won't be much liked here. what do you suggest if not communism? i don't care if you don't support communism, as long as you don't support capitalism, i don;t much care for communism either. you suggest that maybe humans are inherently unable to participate in communism, inherent evil within humans seems to be a pretty christian belief for someone who claims to oppose organized religion, huh? anyways, welcome
Dwtcos, it isn't that I believe in peoples inherent evil simply that from what I have observed in life there will always be those who take shortcuts. Within Communism all people must be willing to work equally, which is not acheivable without enforcement. If such a system is enforced it will simply lead to another bloody revolution; Communism is genius, but when humanity is applied it ceases to work. (also I'm not anti-religion, just anti oppressive church systems) Anyway! thanks to all of you guys for welcoming me to the community! Cheers
This post is from quite awhile ago, and from what I know now seems immature. I've now read the communist manifesto, as well as many anarchist writings, and have a better grasp upon my beliefs. I realize now the similarities between anarchism and true communism and also that neither system can function without Volunteerism. Thanks to all of you for making me question my beliefs and become more informed
