Gay pride rallys ?

What is the point of marching in this day and age because of your sexualality ?
if a non minority's have these types of rally , it would be seen as sexcist/racist ect .........
I think its offensive for any group of people to promote there way of life in such a way , why cant we be who we are , without having to divide and lable ourselves in so so many different ways , why cant we stand together ?

 

Why in this day and age are we still persecuted for our sexuality and gender identities? As long as this is the case we will continue to march.

We are a persecuted minority and we have the right to protest against it and resist social, state and church oppression.

 

because we are what we are in so many different ways we stand together, march together and celebrate diversity together - and just take a look at the counter-protesters and their "traditional family values" - don't you think this minority is sexist and racist?

I take it your not in the UK , as being gay here is a big advantage in many area's and seen as a more positive option than being a hetro !!!!

Didn't you read that I didn't agree with the bigots? Sad reality we live in, but bigots tend to control most of the major things around us in some way or another. They are obviously the ones with the problem, too bad that problem is what makes laws.

nothing, it's just a trick to keep up the order of society and the image of "being a real man", besides a bit of hetero-male voyeurism, threesome-phantasies and dumb ignorance about the absence of something like "real women" only waiting for "real men".
Looking at the map I see most "dark brown" (as in death penalty) countries are islamic and at least in Egypt and Saudi Arabia casual homosexuality between travelling males isn't unusual, the roles of "male" and "female" part are a bit strict and mostly the older partner takes the "male" part, but even me, the long-nosed ugly stranger from afar was quite often offered "to have a little fun" at night while waiting for the bus next morning. Bystanders notice what's going on and watch - but noone takes offence.

 

keeping the males in line because only "true men" can be abused to keep deviants and people-doing-what-they-want in line?
what would happen to the social structure if marriage and family loose their importance... because males free themselves?
