I remember when a brazilian was shot 'n kille by the london police at the subway. The brazilian media made a campaing almost turning the boy a national hero... there's a movie about the incident, i did'nt see it but know that there's one. The media tryied in some way turn the people against UK in a xenophobic mind washing...

'bout the riots taking place now, its someway sad 'n expectable that they do'nt have a political/ideological base. Unfortunatly, like many of you have said, they're turning against theyselves. tought that the UK political groups were more organized/spread. The greeks have made mobilizations in solidarity 'n i would expect something similar occuring at Spain.

We've see many riots spreading around in the last months. You think that its just the capitalism convulsing tu engulf rebels and bypass another crisis or there's something realy harmfull to him boiling?

Sounds like ol'testamentary retribution to me, accompanied by a fine pr-campaign featuring "those outsiders coming in to destroy tottenham" (sounds like "da blitz" again), someone came up with a donation drive for those who lost housing and their shops - and finally we get an explanation from cameron the prophet, about who's to blame and who killed bambi too:

Buying into the comedy of the rage of the people is counter-revolutionary compañeros; and really fucking bourgeois as well.

Maybe, probably, i don't know, i don't think there's anything funny bout others' poverty, nor their anger; nor did i think these images made fun at their expense, but you obviously (and maybe others) disagree...
Within the context of images of the riots being repeated ad nauseam across the whole media with captions along the lines of: "Look at these devil-spawn with face masks, we must burn them at the stake!", images of them lining up for ice cream gave me some respite from my rage at the witchhunt.

Otherwise, recuperate at yr own risk:

The interesting thing about the dominant discourse is the way in which the riots are simultaneously 'unpredictable' and 'an example of the years long moral degeneration of teh yoof'.
It sounds kinda schizo, but I guess it makes a degree of sense. That poor youth are treating as criminal, degenerate scum ain't new, whilst the vehemency with which these yoof (and not so yoof) reacted this time took the ruling class back (maybe having felt the years of their relentless attacks against said section/s of society would have sufficiently atomised, alienated and dissuaded the multidudes'n'dudettes from such widespread, daring action. Although some have pointed to the occurrence of anti-social behaviour within the rioting being a result of these ruling class attacks, an interesting argument. “When Thatcher said there was no such thing as society it wasn’t an empirical observation it was a statement of intent.”).

Now we won't think that such an "intent" would have any consequences in the more or less long run, and just in case somebody gets the idea, we'll burn a number of "da yoooth" at the stake in public and have the media doing the coverage - witch hunts burning...

i support rioting against the system, but at the point when your trampling and killing your own people it becomes a negative thing, treat the anarchist community as an army, if and army bands together and destroies a system, takes over a facist regieme or just deals a blow to the pigs (not all coppers are bastards) then that is a victory for the anarchist army, but if one anarchist dies by the hand of another anarchist, then the army will converge onto itself.. a riot should ahve a purpous, stand for a cause or your fooder for the media to say "oh well theres a bloke who has no idea what he wants, he just thinks rioting is fun"

dont fuck up THE system.. fuck up THEIR sstem
