I do agree with you, I do eat meat as well and I have a second hand leather jacket. I personally think they should be killed humanly, have great environments before they are killed and to not let any go to waste. Almost every part of the animal can be put to use. Anyways, just my opinion.

Dead people, too? Lot of food and stuff going to waste there, maybe a few lamps. I don't see difference, really. Dead is dead, init.

Carnivorous whales shouldn't be kept in cages. Learn your lesson, Sea World.

I volunteer at a large cat sanctuary (Lions, Tigers, Cougars, etc.) I volunteer there because #1) It's a great organization and #2) The animals need help. I know full well the dangers of being even near a predatory animal but I dont get in with the largest tiger and make him jump through hoops so I can sell tickets to turn a profit. Sea World is almost as bad as the photocubs (animals taken around just to sell pictures the people that do this need to have a picture taken as they're beheaded).

i think ALF does lots of good things in the non-public sector of animal-abuse - the laboratories of the industry, the masskilling for fur and leathers ect.,
but protesting against seaworld is more difficult - because of the popularity of the shows. some 15 years ago everyone wanted to free willy (two blockbusters by Simon Wincer about the whale and a young boy, the freeing and re-introduction of an orca into the seas) - but seaworlds shows are going on and on...

"keiko's" (willy) re-introduction failed despite the investment of 16,3 million euros into the project, he died 2003 aged 29 because of pneumonia in a norwegian fjord, 13 years of imprisonment had left him with a behavioural disorder and unable to communicate with others of his species.

i agree with anxiety i really don't see how the average guy would give to shits about animal rights when so many human rights are tramped all the time its not the fight to fight and plus if the anarcho dream becomes a reality then that means no sea world or factory farming and many other pillars of animal abuse will dissipate.
