Roach, a rebellious, loud and defiant punk from the streets of Montreal, Quebec and other cities, was given a camera to document his world during a turbulent time for the homeless squeegee kids of the city. Living in derelict buildings, squeegeeing for money and being hunted by the police, the viewer is forced to look at the living reality of Roach and his friends

    Same error than punkmar

Anyway you aren't missing anything, this movie is shitty and Roach is a fucking dumbass. Roach is a punk from montreal who wants to make a living off his shitty movie. First he came on QuebecUnderground.net and told us we are fake anarchists because we sell t-shirt. Then here comes the big contradiction, he came on Pirate-Punk.net and gave us shit because we were sharing one of his movies, saying he needs to sell them so he can eat. He prefer to sit on his ass making profits out of shitty movie instead of going to work. His documentaries are aired on the TV (on famous french channels like Canal D) and he's still whinning he need more money...

One of Roach's documentary is called "Punk le vote" where he starts a political party and goes to ottawa to reform the system. The documentary was supposed to be a joke at beginning, Starbuck started a political party called PENIS to make fun of the electoral system. But roach took it seriously and really wanted to start a serious political party. In this documentary he goes to Cuba and returns in Quebec totally brainwashed, thinking that Che Guevara is the greatest revolutionnary of all time and that Cuba is a good example of a democracy.

The most funny part is that SPIT is supposed to be a movie dedicated to the homeless youth. Yet he is selling his movie for $50 each DVD

This movie is also supposed to be intended to share a message and talk about the punks in the streets. But how can you pretend to spread a message when nobody can afford it ? The version of the movie dedicated to institutions and schools is $225 each DVD..

I did think myself, that he was a bit of an idiot, but didn't want to judge too much. It was interesting enough to post and watch, despite him being a bit of a tool!
    Thanks for the info.

It gets run sometimes on IFC and the Documentary channel in canada. Neither of them are terribly good, they're really dry and dull, its just street kids wanking around with a camera
